It’s easy to see why, since it’s far superior to the standard version which a whole extra verse at the end. But the songs have stood the test of time – great pop songs – and that is what makes the difference. It was a time that both encapsulated and epitomised not just their youth, but also those of the many millions of fans that adored them. The Big Tour of 1984 and ‘85, comprised thirty nine shows in support of the multi-platinum British and American Number One album Make It Big.

The band’s first number one and the first single from the second album, the appropriately titled Make It Big. Blue (Live In China), a significantly reworked live rendition, did appear on the US Music From The Edge of Heaven. A double A-side with Everything She Wants, Last Christmas topped a ludicrously successful 1984 for Wham!are back on 28 November with a 2-disc anniversary edition of The Final, their farewell compilation album, from 1986. s festive classic did finally get its moment of glory, reaching Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart a whole 36 years after the song's release.

Now for the very first time, told in their own words, the amazing story of how in four years they dominated the charts around the world with timeless and classic pop songs. This is a shame because it has only ever been issued on CD on a rather obscure Japanese CD single of Club Tropicana. This particular mix sounds somewhat "muffled" on both of those CD's as well, and in fact, the track sounds BETTER on this Box Set than either of those other CD's. The US compilation Music From The Edge of Heaven actually contains a unique remix which is very similar to the Extended Stimulation mix but doesn’t have the silly voices talking about ‘magic cars’ in the middle, and instead maintains the 7″ structure at this point.The album was not initially released in North America, where the album Music from the Edge of Heaven was released instead. With unprecedented access to both George and Andrew's personal archive including remarkable and never-before-seen footage, alongside rare, candid and previously unheard interviews, WHAM! The Final saw the duo depart in a blaze of glory in front of seventy two thousand people at Wembley Stadium. A great song, Battlestations gave the best indication as to the direction George Michael would taking his music post-Wham!
