I always took "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue" to be about moving on and leaving things behind - which is why I believe George included that line in "When We Was Fab", as the song is a nostalgic look back at his time as a Beatle; there were good times and bad, all memorable, but he has finally relsised that he can't keep living in that era, time has moved on - hey it was heaven and hell when it was happening to me, it was Fab, but it's all over now (baby blue) - time to put it to bed and move on with my life - that is what I think he was getting at, and the end of the song, as it fades out, I believe to represent the memories slipping away as he moves on with his life.

Which, given how things turn out in the film, might not be the sort of person you'd actually want to meet in real life. If he watches the clip on YouTube, it’ll perhaps refresh his memory and he’ll realize that he actually wore the hippo costume. for instance, after the line about the microscopes, you hear some violins that sound very similar to the ones in "i am the walrus". Instead, it is a lure posted by serial killer Howard Howe (Michael Parks), a retired sailor obsessed with finding redemption for killing and eating a walrus that he claims once saved his life.It’s a great song, but without Martin’s funky string arrangement it would be utterly forgettable rubbish.
