About this deal

Once the router has restarted, log back into the web interface and select [Online Status] > [Physical connection], if it has connected, the relevant WAN Interface status text will be in green along with an IP address which indicates that the connection is active and ready for use. When connected to a Vigor router (2860, 2925series and 2830n v2),DSL line information is now displayed in the router's own web interface, alongside any built-in DSL interface stats. If you have this field in the configuration of the router or computer that you're using then make sure that it is left empty.

Been looking for this for a while but didn’t work for me unless is have the static route from the Vigor modem to UDMP wrong, Im assuming if my UDMP is in the domain 192. Upon restarting, the modem will no longer provide an IP address through DHCP, which is required by the MPoA Bridge Mode configuration, for full bridging to take place. Presumably an Openreach ECI modem would have similar performance to the Draytek, which both use Lantiq chipsets. Go to Static tab, enter an IP Address in the same subnet as Vigor130, and enter the LAN IP of Vigor130 for Gateway IP Address. The Vigor 130 is a pre-configured VDSL2 / ADSL2+ modem that takes a VDSL2 or ADSL2+ connection and performs full pass-through / bridge to Ethernet presentation, which can then be used by a device such as a router to connect directly to the internet.

There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data. Enable the Fixed IP option if your ISP has supplied a fixed IP address, this will open an additional field to enter that IP address. At the moment, the Vigor modem has no way to communicate directly with the UDMP, and the UDMP doesn’t know anything about the Vigor modem itself. In the settings for the WAN interface, set the IPv4 Protocol to PPPoE, no other settings need to be configured on this page; the IPv4 Mode should be left on its default of NAT, the VLAN Tag should not need to be enabled and a Description can be set to describe the connection for future reference. For whatever reason, it looks like the DLM has applied a banded profile capping the downstream speed at 74Mb. It all went well for the first day, the sync speed was same and download speeds great but the next say I lost some speed. If your ISP is using DHCP or a Static IP address instead of PPPoE, the Vigor 130 modem needs to be reconfigured to pass that type of connection through to the device behind it. That might not happen if your router is in a failed state, in which case you might need to manually set the IP address of your PC temporarily. Once that has completed, go to [Online Status] to view the status of the connection, which can take a minute to apply fully.

Whilst the Draytek has never had any problems, I wondered if anyone had used a different modem for their fibre in connection? A 'critical' update is one which includes one or more security improvements relating to product operation or an industry standard protocol. INTLVBLOCK This parameter reports the actual block length of the interleaver used in the latency path in which the bearer channel is transported. I have had the setup nearly two years and only had one issue and it wasn't speed related hence why I changed the firmware of both the WRT32X and Linksys E600 to WRT versions. Firmware is normally supplied in two different styles: The ALL file will just upgrade the firmware, whereas the RST file will upgrade the firmware and wipe all settings back to factory defaults.

Interesting that you have a HH5A as that is a Lantiq chipset like the 130 but you don't experience any issues with it.
