About this deal
Once you download Smartek’s fitness app, you can view a wealth of information about your swimming performance and overall health. I couldn't find a way to change any setting on the watch or to check old activity data either, such as run history etc.
A fitness tracker is there to monitor your daily movements, showing you how many steps you've taken, how many calories you've burnt and even how well you're sleeping. Being able to stop the watch face illuminating when you move your wrist is handy, especially when you’re trying to nod off. We found the sleeping analysis fairly accurate, and it lets you see how much of your sleep is deep or light. The home page displays your daily stats – activities, sleep and heart rate – while the 'Details' page provides an overview of the same stats but for a longer period – week, month, year. There is no gamification in the VeryFitPro either: you can't collect badges and unlock different trophies by hitting certain milestones.
Since this a touch-enabled device, it's not likely you will use the button too much so it's not a great loss.
Before exercising, select what activity you’re going to be doing and the tracker will ask if you’d like to set goals for the session. If you're looking to invest in a fitness tracker but don't want to splurge, then this is could be a great option. This tracker is primarily focused on showing what your heart is doing when you’re exercising and claims to be 99. There is also no extra content around anything in the VeryFitPro app – no blog, workouts, or explainers – nor is there a community to interact with.
