About this deal

Still, leaving aside this curious absence, the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Visual Dictionary really does flesh out a lot of the film's plot. While it is a good bet that anyone reading this has already seen the movie, you probably want to wait until after you see it to read this because it does give away some things (but none of the major surprises or events) of the movie. This stunning reissue of the classic Star Wars: The Complete Visual Dictionary has been brought up to warp speed into 2012, the 35th anniversary of the release of Star Wars: A New Hope, and to celebrate the release of all six films in a 3D format that would impress Yoda. An updated version, LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary Updated Edition is scheduled to be published in 2024.

While I didn't care for Episode 9 itself, this book has lots of great Star Wars information from Pablo Hidalgo et al, as usual. The Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Visual Dictionary contains two passages about the Force Dyad, and they help a little to understand the nature of this connection. I'd recommend this book for any Star Wars fan out there, but it being a must-have book is certainly debatable. It is probably not something that anyone other than die-hard fans is going to invest in, but I do think it is enjoyable enough for even the casual fans of the franchise.
