The build up suggests something great is going to happen on opening this, but although certainly not a bad whisky, it just hasn't lit my fire. The name was revived in 2006 in a plan that involved the malt of three distilleries, combined to create a single malt super-brand that could challenge the likes of Glenlivet and Glenfiddich for sales.
