However, the lack of these features adds to the vintage feel of the watch, so I suppose if you look at it like that, it adds to the Recraft’s charm. Still, it borrows heavily from the earlier design, successfully recreating an exciting era for the brand. It is no secret that non-traditionally shaped watches are what get me … So I guess it therefore should be no surprise that I absolute love this watch!

Officially known as the Seiko 6105, it was a tough dive watch that was on sale in Vietnam during the war. The case back provides a display window that allows you to see the movement when you turn the watch over. It’s a different sort of watch, offering the flair of yesteryear, crafted with modern parts, at a modern size. The original brown leather strap is provided with the watch, it is currently paired on a gold plated mesh bracelet.

With an essentially rectangular case shape, it will wear a bit larger than the measurements suggest. The bezel is chunkier and more modern looking and the whole watch looks a little crisper than the 1960s watch.
