Everything Trying to Kill You: In the beginning of the movie, Richard has one of the most death-defying bike rides ever, encountering heavy rain, harsh winds, exploding street lamps and falling trees. One of those films that opened up my imagination and one that stuck with me even though I didn’t rewatch it often. The theme songs in the film are " Dream Away", sung by Babyface and Lisa Stansfield, and "Whatever You Imagine", sung by Wendy Moten.

Hyde, Long John Silver, and the Dragon all turn out to have been a part of the Pagemaster's Secret Test of Character.
