In 2011 it was reported that Living, who were now known as Sky Living, had chosen not to re-commission either Most Haunted or Most Haunted Live! Yvette Fielding and the Most Haunted team travels to Fernhurst in West Sussex to investigate an unusual haunting in nearby Verdley Woods. In the first series, many elaborate shots were set up in an almost "theatrical" style, with illuminated windows and dry ice.Up until 2019 fans have been crying out for a live episode of the show, but have had to settle for "as-live" shows, which were shot and edited in the style of a live investigation. On several occasions the former spiritualist medium Derek Acorah was supposedly possessed by an entity, sometimes evil or sometimes "lost and confused". It is safe to say it was unique, it’s theme, could you lock yourself in a haunted location for 24 hours. In the second part of Karl Beattie and Stuart Torevell's investigation in Dorset, they soon realise that they're not alone in the wings of the imposing Dorchester Prison.

In July 2019, Beattie announced that Really TV would no longer be broadcasting any new episodes of Most Haunted. Yvette Fielding and the team visit Cromer Pier in Norfolk, where reports of ghostly activity include men in medieval rags and restless boatmen roaming the shore line. As with previous Halloween specials streamed on YouTube, the broadcast will kick off at the peak television hours of Halloween, beginning at 9pm on the night of October 31 and ending at midnight.Most Haunted Extra became a 30-minute programme, broadcast for half an hour after the main show on LivingTV.

Presented by Yvette Fielding, the programme investigates purported paranormal activity in a range of locations, mainly within the United Kingdom. The psychic also claimed that there were spirits of animals in the fort, perhaps from horses who had been involved in its construction and claimed to have encountered the spirit of a pilot named Jeff and other air force men around the fort who had been there during World War I.
