Sunset was a wonderful sister to her siblings and it was sad to see her being the responsible one and trying to fix things.

I will be recommending this book with full abandon and hope that other readers enjoy this book as much as I have. I enjoyed both of them as characters and wish this had been more of a focus as the majority of the book favours detailing different events that show how incompetent each parent is, which felt dragged out after a while. Destiny wins first place in the talent show and sends a DVD to Sunset of it and at the climax of the book, Sunset shows Destiny's DVD to the show "Little Darlings" producer and at the end we see how Destiny comes to Robin Hill and Danny's house in a limousine and is welcomed, albeit for the cameras, as one of Danny's talented daughters. The author presents Lauren as a mother who initially doesn’t feel anything for her newborn babies and how, or if, those instinctive reactions will ever arise.She holds a PhD in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University which examines the use of folklore in contemporary thrillers. The two become fast friends and Sunset believes her story about them being sisters, but Destiny and Kate get thrown off the premises when Sunset's mother Suzy discovers them. Little darlings is definitely one of my favourite books the only thing I would change about it was the way it went like it was all about destiny in the first chapter and all about sunset in the second and then all about destiny in the third chapter and about sunset in the fourth it kinda confused me at the start but now it's definitely one of my favourites! The things that he says, and the way he treats his wife, made me wish I could meet him in real life so I could give him a good kick in the shin.

Reading this story will make your pulse race and your stomach flip at times, but you will keep turning the pages.It's an adult novel (I specify this because so many fae/supernaturalish-possibly-themed novels are YA) and it's dark and clever.
