Leo is almost 3 and is loving everything emergency service related, when we are out in the car he loves coming across a fire engine, police car or ambulance with their sirens blaring. The Fire Station has a lot of accessories too: beds, computer with desk, water hose with water, walkie talkies for the firemen and no station is complete with out a flag! There are some more puzzles built in to the station too, including the hose and ladder – but I will let you work those ones out for yourself. When putting out a fire you hear Leo making the nose for the water as he spurts it out of the hose, and onto the burning building.He marched the little firemen up the fire escapes into the fire station, he swung them from the hook (for reasons only he will know).

It is a toy that he can use his imagination with completely, he can make absolutely anything happen and I think this is precisely why it is such a big hit. There is also the same mechanism built into the Fire Station where by if you turn the fireman the doors to the station open and out zooms a Fire Engine. From a parent’s perspective I think this is a great addition to the toy collection, nothing beats sitting down on the sofa and watching Leo play out his games right in front of me.The Fire Station set comes with the Fire Station that folds up to easily carry from place to place, a Fire Engine with nee nar sounds and winding up gadgets and doors that open. Noah was so lucky to be sent a fabulous imaginext Fire Station to review, it really made his whole year and it hasn’t even got to Christmas or his birthday yet! You can see the other pieces that come with the set in the image to the left, there are lots of items to help the fireman do their job safely and to help little toddler imaginations run wild.
