When Ichigo lost to Captain Byakuya Kuchiki, he trained hard to unlock his real zanpakuto, and it looked much cooler than the old one. It is a different side of him, a monstrous aspect to his being that was truly awoken during the rigorous battles in the Soul Society. Cosplayer kennedy_cosplays stylishly depicts a training-worn Ichigo who has finally unlocked the true depths of what he and Tensa Zangetsu are capable of, and his calm, confident heroic pose proves that he can take on the likes of Grimmjow Jaegerjaques, the terrifying Sternritter and more. Ichigo Kurosaki really took everyone by surprise when he began to operate as a Soul Reaper, with exceptions like his father Isshin Kurosaki and perhaps Kisuke Urahara. This is the unique outfit that Ichigo wore on the day of Rukia's impending execution, and it was a real visual treat to behold.
