For some reason the designers decided that if all of the pieces are added to the mule the player who plays the last piece wins. While it should be pretty obvious due to the fact that the game has an age recommendation of 4+, Buckaroo! There is no ‘jump’ even from a 3 year old cos it hardly makes a noise, hardly bucks and frankly it’s been remodelled in the most boring way - as kids, we were pretty raucous playing buckaroo. The only strategy in the game is to find an area of the saddle where you can place the item and lay it down softly as to not make the mule buck. In the (unlikely) event that a player manages to place the last item onto the mule's back without it bucking, that player is the winner. Players must answer the questions correctly to win the game and avoid getting a cattle prod to the finger.The players also need to be careful to not put too much pressure on the mule’s blanket though because it will trigger the mule to buck which will eliminate the player.

Not for the faint (or pacemaker) hearted, The Shocking Truth will definitely amp up your next games night to the next level.
