As we arrived late on the first night due to plane delay we unpacked what we needed and then went down to the restaurant/bar for a couple of drinks and relax, drinks were not expensive and the service was prompt.

I truly enjoyed my time at Hotel Stripes and most of all Man Tao bar, the ambiance, happy hour and definitely the choice of music too! The rooftop pool and bar were great and the views excellent, you can see both the Petronas towers (about 20min walk away) and the KL tower (about 30 min walk) ,which lights up multiple colours at night, from the infinity pool. I hate leaving negative reviews as I believe this sometimes impacts on the general staff but I'll like to add that everybody around the hotel was super friendly unfortunately it was the building, location, rooms, food, features and the management that let the place down. Gel does this thanks to its ability to absorb excess body heat without feeding it back to you during the night. Together these layers supply a cozy, luxury feel that sleeps cool and has just the right amount of bounce.
