I had to remind myself to do just that as I read these pages because I wanted so badly for Charlie to survive.and for felix, i love him so much for giving a chance and purpose to charlie, he opened a path for charlie to start living instead of just surviving. I'm sorry if this review is odd, it's just incredibly difficult for me to review books like this, especially ones that had an impact or made me think/feel a lot. Though Mikey’s desire to help Charlie is earnest, he is a college student without the training, resources, and experiences to provide adequate help. A teen character has a sexual relationship with a man 10 years older than she, and a few of the sex scenes are described in detail.

Then in the latter half of the book, when they are out, they both struggle to come to terms with what happened in their captivity. if you suffered from a tiny bit of mental health issues, which i believe every person did, you can find a piece of yourself in charlie. I would totally recommend this to everyone who is interested in topics like self harm and mental illnesses. That affects Dean’s relationship with his fiancee, Cora, and her sister’s relationship, as a whole messes up the situation. My crazy self decided that yes, it’s an AMAZING idea to read this and a little life at the same time!But the later sections about Ellis feel repetitive and readers may grow tired of this storyline, which ultimately goes nowhere.
