The company extracted this algorithm from studying how thousands of people brushed their teeth, to help improve brushing technique and coverage. The app also helps to identify brushing habits and patterns, allowing users to spot which teeth they keep missing, how much pressure they use, and more via their brushing history. Offering four modes, including two sensitive modes, you still get a superb clean both on and in-between teeth.

We found the brush to be very quiet (much more so than a typical oscillating brush) and felt smooth as you work your way around your mouth. Like the older model, the Genius X then gives live feedback on your brushing, showing which areas you’re targeting.
