Comprised of various labels we know and love at Rough Trade (Bella Union, ATO, Speedy Wunderground, Phantasy, Heavenly, Mute and more) PIAS [Recordings] filter through some of the most diverse artistry to our racks, which we greatly enjoy digging into. Never understood what the fuzz was all about with this album but through this mastering I totally get it. The meteoric success of the album has been outstanding, with global sales of over 40 million records sold and numerous number ones across the world. Over its 40 years in business, PIAS has grown to be one of the largest independently-owned music groups in the world, carving out its own in-house recorded music division PIAS [Recordings].

Some surface noise in between tracks and some quiet parts even after hitting it with an antistatic gun. I have to agree with MollieBrower, in fact used that review to kick me over the edge on giving it a shot. Although troubled with tension and setbacks the second time round combination of Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, John and Christine Mcvie, together with the production talents of Ken Caillat and Richard Dashut had created the band's ultimate masterpiece.

I'm not super into it with my setup at least, but curious to hear what other's experiences are with it. His full length debut on Daptone Records is equal parts raw feeling and elegance and exudes confidence and charm. Now with a massively successful US tour opening for sweet soul darlings Thee Sacred Souls behind him, 2023 is sure to be a propitious year for Daptone's newest signee. Overtime, and especially with a better turntable, I've noticed the sound on this release is somewhat muffled.Mine came warped and covered in static, it's difficult to take it out of the sleeve because it clings. Rumours is the kind of album that transcends its origins and reputation, entering the realm of legend - it's an album that simply exists outside of criticism and outside of its time, even if it thoroughly captures its era. Overall I’d say you can’t go wrong with either but this latest repress sounds fantastic, go grab it! Catalogue number written without a space on the sleeve and on lyric foldout insert issued with some early releases.

I'm assuming this is a bad pressing but it sad such lack of quality would happen on such an iconic album.Anyone who has had the pleasure of seeing Jalen perform live knows that he is one of the most captivating performers on today's soul scene. On February 4th 1977, after a year of recording through hedonism, scandal and relationship break-ups the British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac released their eleventh studio album, Rumours. I finally snagged a copy today and it’s a flawless pressing as far as playback (no cracks or pops) and the overall mix/volume is spot on.
