About this deal

Near the end it was like Stevie's feelings changed, her fight went away, and then the bitch of the story even attempted to redeem herself which I thought was super odd? She would've fought harder and explained it to them so she could find her sister easier, but all she did was try to escape so she can be with her sister.

You can imagine that paying an addicts debt with her body is just another one of those shitty moments in life. And to top it all off, everyone, I mean EVERYONE, fucking holds hands and skips off into the sunset at the end of the book / semi cliffy.

somehow Stevie -our heroine- finds herself belonging to these men because her asshole of step father promised her sister to them. I’m a little iffy about the relationships still but I think that’s about to change, so we’ll see how I feel after the next book.

With all this said, I'm looking forward to the next book in the series to see the growth in Jessa and the see where the story goes next! right before that when they save the fmc, her and one of the mmcs ex fiancee just go from enemies to bffs in a second, felt rushed and like a flop in the plot. Atlas, Their Powerful Leader , knows I don’t belong in their world, but he’s too caught up in protecting his own secrets to save me.Stevie it a a great character that even though in one or two situations I wanted to slap some sense into her, she is growing and getting to know herself and the MMCs which all of them are great with their unique personalities. Atlas, Enzo, Tristan and Cyrus are about to show this spoilt little princess that her mommy issues were not going to warrant any pitty from them. I'll just use Lilac and Den of Vipers as an example, they are standalones but both books are a little over 600 pages, but I know who each characters is and care about them in some way or another. I think the book has potential, but the author should revise it and add depth and development to the characters.

Fear The Reapers: A Dark Mafia Romance (Lovesick Villains Book 1)

It was a great start for the story, I enjoy so much a RH, dark mafia romance and this book delivered.Stevie’s character highlighted the realization that many times someone’s makeup stories can have underlying tones that matches others. For someone who had been a victim of lots of ab*se, she seemed to trust them easily just because they showed her kindness. I don't know, the book was quick and somewhat medium burn steamy and if you don't really care about the plot the story may be for you but it's not even really developed enough for me to reccomend it for that aspect either. TW: This book features graphic violence, past traumas, dark romance, and dangerously possessive anti-heroes. and the guys were written as being quite strong alpha type with distinctive personalities/quirks who didnt talk to anyone but all of a sudden they were all over her and nice.

I like that Stevie’s evolvement from remaining emotionally unavailable changed once she opened up the men she was given too. If she really did love them, she would trust them with her secret about her sister, knowing they would help her.

One example is that she told us the main characters developed a connection, but they only had around 2-3 scenes between them actually written out in the entire book. From all the reverse harems I've read, its really hard for it to be outstanding when the book is this short. A job in his old hometown ends halfway around the world in a blaze of gunfire…It was meant to be a simple job but ended in a violent ambush and betrayal. Stevie's shitty life, her bitch of a mother and generally every fucking person she ever trusted just made you say 'damn can't she catch a break'.
