The themes being explored are worthwhile, yet the movie never forgets what the audience wants and does a fine job of maintaining that balance. The Steelbook itself is gorgeous, I didn't used to like them when they had no title on the front but this really works in this particular instance.there’s a lot of life left in these Deadites, plenty of gas in the chainsaw, and tons of ammo in the boomstick! I’m not going to go full on Charlie Day here and make over the top tie ins to prove how every one of the films are connected, but there are distinct hints that make you wonder just HOW connected to the originals each of the newer ones are. Experience a riveting, gore-filled nightmare when Evil Dead Rise arrives for purchase Digitally at home on May 9. There’s no mercy, no survival (for the most part), and no attempts to overly tie the film to the rest in the series. In Evil Dead Rise, the action moves out of the woods and into the city, and tells a twisted tale of two estranged sisters, played by Sullivan and Sutherland, whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable.

I’m a HUGE fan of Sam Raimi’s take on horror comedy, but the 2013 film went in a completely different direction. The entire mix is note perfect, with dialogue perfectly legible throughout, and the deep bass, sparkling highs and every stop in between showcases a huge frequency range which will give your audio set up an exercise like its not had in a while. I just felt that I couldn’t relate to any of the characters and that the filmmakers used a previously-existing name to merit more profit.There are plenty of winks for veteran watches of the Evil Dead franchise along with a fresh, new perspective within this movie. success":{"instruction_type":"success","instruction_message":"How often would you like to give this? This two-disc collector's set comes with both a 4K and Blu-ray cut of the film, with plenty of extra features to be revealed closer to the time of release. Yeah, I may be proven wrong later in the year, but so far this is probably one of the single best Atmos tracks I’ve ever heard, and is singularly the best part of this entire package (both the 4K UHD and Blu-ray have the same audio tracks).
