The Ei3018 CO Alarm is fully compatible with all other Aico alarms and accessories whether a system needs upgrading or an existing system needs expanding; and works with either hard-wired, RadioLINK or hybrid interconnecting systems. The new, simpler A-G energy rating scale is stricter and designed so that very few products are initially expected to achieve the top “A” rating. The house coding feature confines the RF communication to designated RF devices only, thereby avoiding the inadvertent activation of neighbouring Alarm RF systems. This is the Aico Ei3000MRF SmartLINK Module which allows for wireless interconnection and data extraction.

This is an optional add-on SmartLINK module for the Aico 3000 series of alarms to enable wireless interconnection with up to 12 SmartLINK and RadioLINK+ alarms and devices. The Ei3024 Multi-Sensor Fire Alarm is SmartLINK compatible, Simply plug in an Ei3000MRF module for wireless interconnection, data extraction and real-time notifications of alarm activations and events via the SmartLINK Gateway and Portal. Remote Alarm Learn: this feature allows the installer to re-activate the entire RF system House Coding from just one device; additional devices can be added and house-coded accordingly.

No external parts are left exposed as the small antenna is fully enclosed within the alarm unit once fitted. The housing coding feature protects the alarm system against other alarm systems nearby, preventing false activation. The Ei3024 Multi Sensor Fire Alarm is built on the same high quality, reliable and proven technology that all Aico Alarms are renowned for, but contains the latest high-tech enhancements making it the most effective domestic fire alarm on the market. The Ei3000MRF facilitates a monitoring (or buddy system) function that recognises system tampering or alarm head removal.

Once the alarm is powered up, the RF LED on the side of the alarm device will flash red, blue and green which indicates that the module is correctly fitted and operating. The new SmartLINK technology provides the same proven wireless interconnection technology as RadioLINK and RadioLINK+, using Radio Frequency signals and is completely compatible with both existing systems. The module is designed with a robust mesh of RF signals and provides a reliable path of communication. Functions: when the Ei3000MRF is plugged in, you get wireless interconnection, data extraction and real-time notifications of alarm activations and events via the SmartLINK Gateway (Ei1000G) and Portal.
