Hyman doing what looks an awful lot like a late night infomercial on PBS, it raises my suspicions-what is he selling? It has been made the 'bad guy' by scientists, doctors, nutritionists, the government, the media, the food industry. The paper also concluded that there was convincing evidence that replacement of saturated fatty acids with polyunsaturated fat will decrease the risk of cardiovascular disease, particularly in men. The purpose of the study was to try to find a possible reason why intake of extra virgin olive oil may provide protection from cancer on a cellular level. I did learn some interesting facts such as the stuff that comes out of beaver anal glands is featured in vanilla flavoring.
