The highlight of the novel is a three-way making out session in a cave (if that wasn't a lie, of course). Not only did I feel like I didn't get a chance to truly know Micah, but I also didn't get a good feel of her parents or Zach. You can't possibly know for sure that what she says is real is indeed and you can't trust your own judgement because the person telling you the whole story is about as reliable as a psychopath. The Malaysian remake, "LIAR", was first released on Astro GO ( on demand) on March 25, 2023, before premiering on Astro RIA on April 3, 2023. For the first part of the book, it could be the story of a normal teenager -- one who has had bad things happen to her, and who is a loner, yes, but one who is essentially like those around her.

The French remake, Mensonges, was first released on Salto on July 30, 2021, before premiering on TF1 on September 2, 2021. Up to seven remakes of Liar have been produced by networks in other countries, including Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Turkey, Slovakia and Malaysia. This book received some publicity before it's release because of a controversial decision made by the publisher to white-wash the cover. Although I think that Larbalestier tries to pull off a provocative and brilliant ending, the ending just isn't satisfying enough to justify the ambiguity. The Folly of Fools is evolutionary biology at its best; dense with bench science and psychology, yet wonderfully readable. As Micah backtracks and changes her story, while also explaining her actions, I admit I felt pretty shocked!

The other thing that pleased me was the fact that the book has non-white characters -- chiefly non-white characters, in fact -- and LGBT content, plus a generally sex-positive attitude. You continue to read to see if she will admit about what she knows about Zach’s death and who really is responsible. The series premiered on ITV on 11 September 2017, with the first series concluding on 16 October 2017. Some inner town sequences in Brockley, Nunhead, Shortlands (Episode 3), South Ealing, and Edinburgh (Episode 4).This might be another bizarre lie, like the little brother she may or may not have or the guy she may or may not have had sex with or the- well, you get my point. For example, only seven prisoners actually lived in France’s Bastille prison when it was stormed in 1789, and they lived in relative comfort. It's almost like she's getting better, but there's sort of this sad sigh of truth (of things as they actually are) at the end.
