Every year, a portion of the best wines joins the exceptional collection of 800,000 reserve magnums destined for the Special Cuvée and Bollinger Rosé blends. Jacques Bollinger, the son of Georges, took over as head of the Champagne House on the death of his father in 1918. Six generations of the Bollinger family have maintained the trademark style of their namesake Champagne and it is one of a few remaining Grand Marque houses owned, controlled and managed by the same family since the brand's founding. This technique results in a pure fresh flavour, without any tannins barging in to disrupt your delicate palate.We love the rich, raspberry biscuit notes, but the underlying apple keeps each sip fresh and well balanced. The Bollinger style has a dense and subtle presence, a balance of the intensity of great pinot noirs and the freshness of chardonnays from the Côte des Blancs. Another of Bollinger’s distinctive features are two plots, the Clos Saint-Jacques and Chaudes Terres, which have never succumbed to phylloxera.

Champagne Bollinger’s 179 hectares of vines are made up of 85% Grand and Premier crus and are farmed by our teams of growers across 7 separate vineyards: Aÿ, Avenay, Tauxières, Louvois and Verzenay for pinot noir, around the Montagne de Reims, Cuis for chardonnay on the Côte des Blancs and Champvoisy for meunier in the Vallée de la Marne.When you come in, you can find your new favourite bottle at our tasting counter, hire glasses, flutes and chiller bins free* and pick up some ice. This rosé version builds on the brand’s rich brioche base, while introducing red berries and a touch of stone fruit.

An intense, fresh vintage, the secret of a viticultural year full of contrasts and the embodiment of two miraculously-surviving clos. These “aromatic bombs” contribute to the complexity of the non-vintage blends and their consistency over time. With layers of bittersweet red cherry and raspberry, the pronounced acidity cuts through the richer flavours of beef carpaccio. Rich, full-bodied and vintage bottles can be a great match with the likes of meaty fish, carpaccio and even spicy food like nduja pizza.

A family of passionate individuals who have been working for nearly two centuries to create the finest Champagne wines with a unique and legendary taste. The addition of a superb red wine from the Poirier Saint-Pierre and Montboeuf plots in Verzenay or the ones in Aÿ, worked in the same way as the vines of the legendary Côte aux Enfants plot, lends it an assertive aromatic power. The story begins with Athanase de Villermont, who inherited a vast estate from his family on the outskirts of Aÿ.

When Champagne Bollinger decided to embark on making a rosé, its standards were uncompromising: it had to have freshness, of course, but also structure and elegance.

Bollinger Champagne is available at The Champagne Company and began with Joseph Bollinger in 1822 who took up employment with Müller-Ruinart, but later joined forces with Paul Renaudin and the Comte de Villermont to form Renaudin, Bollinger Co in 1829.
