The equipment has a power switch meaning you have to unplug and plug the cable all the time for you to turn it on and off. It's also nice to be able to pan channels - I realize this is standard on most mixers, but still - so that I can put, for instance, one radio in the right speaker, and one in the left to permit "focus" on audio from one radio without having to adjust anything.I've used, and abused, a couple Behringer mixers over the years and they held up to some pretty intense heat/outdoor/Oceanside gigs.
