Neither ANC mode is strong enough to put a kibosh on high frequencies, but they do an admirable job of minimizing them; ambulance sirens and crying babies don’t sound so loud. It’s OK, but I thought Apple’s and Sony’s versions generated better feedback; with the Life P3, the answers were similar no matter which size tips I installed.

This function can be static or track your head movements within the soundstage for a more immersive listening experience, which is a cool touch. When opening the app, all eyes will be directed towards the Equalizer, which has 22 presets and lets you create sound profiles by tweaking frequency levels. Both the Transport and Indoor modes worked very well in their respective environments, but I found the impact of the Outdoor option less pronounced.

The Life P3 won't snuff out background noise the way the best in the industry can, but that's to be expected. Some of the headphones in the truly wireless lineup have very similar overall performances with slight differences, making it hard to decide which pair is right for you. Noise around you, like door slams and chatter, are neatly reduced, but do battle your voice clarity somewhat. The stems are a bit thicker than the rest of the brands' lineup, but they're also shorter than the regular Soundcore Life P3's, and look neat thanks to the shining metallic line in the middle of the stem.

Soundcore Life P3 features IPX5 rating protection to help it withstand rain, water splashes as well as sweat. Not to the point where they got anywhere close to falling out, but enough to affect their passive noise-cancelling seal. The app is delightfully easy to understand and use, and lets you add volume controls to the responsive - albeit slowly reacting - touch panels.

Build quality is good, app is good, battery life is good and they are comfortable, however the sound quality is disappointing as they are lacking bass and they really aren't loud.
