The whole Mouseling family tries to solve this problem so that Angelina can love and accept her new sister. One could argue that I'm making a big deal out of a minor change in wording, but clearly, the publisher doesn't see it as minor since they felt it was necessary to change the text of the book after 30 years. Even for children who don't dance or like dancing, they can still read this book and learn about practicing towards their goal. A stroy about a pretty little mouse who loves to dance so much that she never does any of her chores.

Funnily enough, I'm docking a star for the reason another reviewer hates the newer editions: gendered roles talking about getting chased by little boys versus other mice (are we starting the "they like you if they're mean" this early? Holabird’s son, Adam, was her inspiration for the character Henry, and Angelina’s character was inspired by her daughters’ love for dressing up and dancing. Why I Recommend: I recommend this book because of the great lesson behind it as well as the beautiful drawings that go along with it.
