About this deal

The pipe should not be damaged in this process; occasionally though if the cutter is not perpendicular when the olive is cut, the pipe is nicked. Unlike an olive puller which can damage the underlying copper pipe work, an olive cutter lets you perform a very accurate cut, so you can remove the olive without damaging the rest of the pipe. The Monument Olive Cutting Tool is designed to remove an olive from copper pipe without damaging the pipe and without producing swarf/debris. it's all 'our' eh, so much for the loyal employee that was trying to become a 'burger flipper' on a North Sea Rig. Before you start : Ensure the water is isolated and drained down, if in doubt ALWAYS contact a professional heating engineer.

The problem Neil and Gerry had when fitting a cistern was how to remove an olive without damaging the pipe. The blades are sized to fit around the outside of the pipe and sharp enough to cut through the copper olive. Jonathan Collier, Managing Director adds “products will go through iterations which often we never see at the original outset of the product; we also have new designs of the product coming out in 2018.
