Skyler is another exciting talent at Rainbow High, but she's not quite ready to share her work with the world. She is one of the most talented fashion designers at Rainbow High, but she prefers to stay anonymous and let her work speak for itself. And it does. The girls end up with a variety of looks, and after doing a performance for Ms. Wright, they pass the project. Amaya's Series 1 boots are inspired by a pair of boots featured in Moschino's 2014 Fall/Winter Runway collection. The two are seen cheering in the crowd along with Sheryl and Gabriella in "Rainbow Vision Finale: Part 2" and "Rainbow Vision Finale: Part 3", so we can assume they are friends. Violet details how Ruby and Emi are working together for Radiant Week, even revealing how they do jigsaw puzzles together. Bella's T-shirt in her signature outfit has a very similar design to the logo of the California Dream Barbie line of dolls. This might be an intentional nod as Barbie is heavily associated with the color pink.Appearing once again, Ruby is interviewed by Krystal alongside her friends. In the interview, Ruby talks all about her love and passion for mixed media and graphic design, gushing about how she loves making art out of and on everything. Being rather inspired by this, it gets revealed that Krystal chose Ruby to be the spokesperson for the article. While originally fearing any jealousy, everyone rejoices over Ruby's victory and accomplishment. On The Vi Life, Violet mentions that Ruby and Emi do jigsaw puzzles at the Rainbow Union. They also worked together for Radiant Week and painted a room by using forced perspective. Her original quote "I don't follow trends. I set them." was changed to "Own it! I would!" the same line she said in "The Prize at the End of the Rainbow" for unknown reasons.

Although they don't interact much, they are still friends since they hang out with each other often in their group of friends. In Series 2, her complexion and eye design remain the same. Her hip-length hair is now styled with curly waves (mostly blue) and streaks of other colors resembling the rainbow. Her eyeshadow is also done in a colorful rainbow palette and she has bright red lips. They both seem to hate Amaya, being best shown during Amaya's audition for their play. River dating Amaya is probably is what fueled this distaste. During this they accuse Amaya of being jealous of Georgia, claiming she doesn't want River to kiss her. Laurel later accuses Amaya of sabotaging the play.
