About this deal

The upcoming battletome details several vampiric bloodlines, each with their own history and culture. The ancient beings that lead them are some of the strongest beings in all the Mortal Realms. Lauka Vai, the Mother of Nightmares Foremost among them was Neferata. A queen, before the corrupted necromancy of Nagash twisted her mind, Neferata was the first Soulblight vampire. Attempting to replicate the Elixir of Life, she distilled a corrupted version, granting herself eternal youth, immense physical prowess, heightened senses, and magical aptitude, all at the cost of an insatiable thirst for blood. More aggravatingly, however, was her unceasing connection to Nagash, forever compelling her loyalty to the dark lord. Our goal is to build upon and consolidate the great work already being done by other community members across various forums, reddit threads, and hobby blogs, and bring together a comprehensive library of all these useful Build Instruction booklets. Embodying the true nature of all Soulblight vampires, these transformed lords revel in self-loathing. Vengorian Lords are powerful warriors and wizards – fighting at the head of Soulblight Gravelords armies from every dynasty. But Radukar isn’t the only member of the Vyrkos bloodline who’s on the rise, nor is he the oldest… Belladamma Volga, First of the Vyrkos

Anyway, there are 5 subfactions. As normal, it does not limit you from including anything, although some bloodlines are oriented toward a particular playstyle or grant additional battlelines. Many characters in the book are already part of a subfaction and you can include them in other stuff but they won’t gain the benefits of the legion. We’ll go over the traits of each legion and what that playstyle means, and a few choice artefacts and traits that might be worth looking at. For a full deep dive, we’ll work on a start competing within the coming weeks. Legion of Blood Grave Guard are a big winner for a returning unit, with some shuffling of profile bonuses and tidying up of warscroll rules effectively resulting in two flavours of GG: Punch very hard, or punch slightly less hard but be very tough for their cost. The double damage on 6s to wound has changed over to a flat MW in addition, and the Great Wight Blades now deal flat 2 damage. This is a classic example of a great warscroll in a vacuum, but also one that scales very well with buffs. Despite not receiving a model update with this tome, I fully expect we will see a lot of Grave Guard in the future, as they’ve managed to stay at the same price point but get even tougher and punchier in the process. A super-tall, visually incredible sculpt, this lady is going to be in high demand for Soulblight armies. In a welcome twist, the kit can also be constructed as a generic, non-named-character variant, the Vengorian Lord, which in itself looks pretty ace.

Assembly Instructions for Radukar, The Beast – Warhammer Age of Sigmar (AoS).

Returned to Age of Sigmar by Nagash’s deathly embrace, Mannfred carved out a little piece of Shyish to call his home, setting up another empire that has all the tropes of gothic literature: tall castles, dark skies, and lots of spires. Populated by undead servants, their decaying flesh is twisted to look like Mannfred’s defeated rivals, completing the ultimate – albeit horrendous – trophy display case. Prime your new miniature ready for battles of Warhammer Age of Sigmar using the incredible Citadel Colour System. Get creative and choose from a wide variety of water-based colours which have been designed and improved over time specifically for Warhammer painting. Once painted, Radukar the Beast is ready to command the Soulblight Gravelords as a Vampire Lord and take over the Mortal Realms! Radukar The Beast Components It used to be a command ability, meaning in theory you could do it multiple times a turn. This was easier said than done, however. In the centuries later, vast lineages formed, splitting into various dynasties and empires of distinct cultures. Some cherished the deathly powers of Nagash, revering him as a god to be worshipped, while others rejected him, only resentfully supporting his deathly crusade as they were forever cursed to do. All, however, conspired against one another, currying favour with those who would help them, before betraying any ally that stood as an obstacle to undead hegemony. At some point Radukar crossed paths with a Human named Emelda Braskov from Mournhold and destroyed her army. [1] Equipment

Radukar, The Beast Radukar, The Beast

Some welcome titbits of Kragnos’ tabletop rules reveal that he’ll add one to the Bravery of all friendly Destruction units within 12”, and his massive, ornate shield, Tuskbreaker, gives him a decent chance of ignoring the damage each and every time he’s hit by a spell or endless spell. No model statline, or rules for that gnarly-looking mace, just yet. GW knows how to leave folks wanting more, after all. But she’s no willing servant. A begrudging follower of Nagash, she’s always looking to usurp his godly powers, and position herself as the single ruler of Death. The Soulblight curse forever compels her loyalty to the Supreme Lord of Undeath, and ensures her attempts to break free from his thrall are doomed to failure. Taking a portion of Shyish for herself, she’s built an empire that follows her will, replete with a devoted population to do her bidding. Lady Annika, the Thirsting Blade and Kritza the Rat Prince are two melee hero’s who’ve also been added to the Roster of the Gravelords. While fantastic little models they’re really not much to write home about here. Kritza’s price point is really appealing but they’re what they are and don’t bring a lot more to the army past their combat abilities. Kritza especially might make it into some forces, just through the fact he’s a constant annoyance and won’t just leave the field. With the GHB 2021 Radukar the Wolf is an extra hero, so you can replace him with the Beast. Then you take 20 skeletons instead of 30 and 2x 20 Zombies instead of Wolves and just summon the wolves to the table with the CA. rest as you had put it. I think a lot of the anger is coming off a string of pretty broken books, between Seraphon and Lumineth we’ve been spoiled for meta-defining books which reinvent the entire competitive scene and a course correction was bound to happen. We also don’t know what this might mean for third edition because the book is definitely written with that in mind. We’ll need to wait a few weeks for the full picture.
