If you are expecting total sound isolation from the outside world these will get you part of the way there, however Symphonized advertises them as noise canceling, which just causes confusion. We get it Symphonized – you need to rank highly for search terms with competitors, but this practice no doubt makes for some unhappy customers. Panasonic’s RP-HTX7 came in an easy-to-open, clear plastic display box with graphic cardboard inserts; no scissors or garden shears are required for getting to these cans.

What’s really great about these headphones is that not only are they comfortable, they are remarkably non-fatiguing to listen to. This is especially noteworthy because the 92s have a pretty bright, detailed sound, with so much upper end detail and clarity they seem like they would be harsh.
