About this deal

Patti from WisconsinThe original origin of this song was not written by any band member of starship.. Yes, they recorded it, made it a hit but they did not write it. How do I know? I know exactly who first wrote it, have known him all my life, but that is a private matter for now. Just wish he would have gotten credit for this amazing song. Kudos, Mr. Barclay, for another wonderful novel. I can only hope your ideas continue to flow, as I have eagerly anticipated many of the pieces you’ve presented in the last numbers of years. This book gave me goosebumps more than once and in my book (no pun intended) that makes it a 4 or 5 star. Cynthia Bigge, a fourteen year old girl is drug home one night by her father after he catches her drinking and making out with a much older boy. When she gets home she has a spat with her father and wishes them all dead. The next morning she wakes to an empty house. No mom, no dad, and no brother. No Time for Goodbye is a masterful blend of suspense and emotional depth that kept me hooked until the very end." And from the 'For What It's Worth' department, the remainder of the Top 10 the week that "Sara" was in the #1 position:

As the investigation deepens they go to find Vince h er former boyfriend who has a chequered past he helps but gets shot in the process. Mr. Barclay has written a phenomenal storyline filled with a supremely well-developed, dynamic, and authentic cast of characters. That’s Barclay’s general set-up in No Time for Goodbye. As you can see, there’s a large array of characters -- both past and present, and troubling besides -- who play parts in Cynthia’s past and future. Barclay recognized his interest in writing detective fiction at an early age, inspired by the works of Ross Macdonald, who had grown up in Kitchener, Ontario. [4] After graduating from high school Barclay studied literature at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, where one of his teachers was the noted novelist Margaret Laurence. While attending university, he began a correspondence with Macdonald that proved inspirational for Barclay. They met once, at which time Macdonald inscribed one of his books to Barclay: "For Linwood, who will, I hope, someday outwrite me". [4]Were they murdered? Kidnapped? Did they leave and abandon their daughter? It's three decades later and no one has any idea. But Cynthia is permanently scarred by what happened and she's living with the damage, which is affecting her marriage and her 8-year-old daughter, who is overprotected by Cynthia. Next thing he recalls is waking up with a head injury that has robbed him of some of his short-term memories. But maybe there’s more damage than just missing memories.

Sneider, Jeff (19 February 2014). "Todd Phillips to direct thriller 'Trust Your Eyes' ". Variety . Retrieved 19 February 2014. Clayton's will leaves everything to Cynthia. Enid somehow felt suspicious (why?) and gets the lawyer's secretary to show it to her. She and Jeremy then set out to kill Cynthia and Grace and then Clayton and Terry as well. The action begins right away and I felt like I was experiencing Paul’s journey to the truth right alongside him. The typewriter messages may sound kooky but it all seemed plausible given the circumstances, which I’ll leave for you to discover. There are other characters and distractions that become quite meaningful, even creepily so, making this an intriguing story. The book is narrated by Terry - Cynthia's husband. I thought I liked him for a long time, but eventually he started grating on me with his distrust of his own wife and his occasional stupidity. I liked the ambiguity of a supernatural element being involved or was Paul slowly starting to unravel.
