About this deal

Imagine if your nerf gun could eject shells after every round like a real firearm? We’ll dream no longer because the Winchester 1887 Lever Action Shotgun does precisely that! Next was 3.75" of brass. This caused about the same range as the 5" copper, but slightly less accurate and the same jamming issue. The Scravenger includes 26 Zombie Strike Darts (green elite darts) and two 12-round magazines. The magazines are spring-fed, which tend to feed better than many of the new hopper-fed nerf guns. It also has a tactical light attachment and two tactical rails: one below the muzzle and another on the handle. Let’s start with the coolest features that set it apart from other nerf guns: slam-fire action, naked-gun mode, and a removable two-shot sidearm.

Firstly, it’s made pretty flimsy, and I’m sure the priming handle will be the first thing to break for many. Secondly, it has weird ergonomics to it. The handle is massive, even for someone with large hands like myself—which can also make using the lever-action awkward since it is so far away from the trigger. The SlingFire was the second Nerf blaster to feature a lever-action mechanism for priming, the first being the Multishot Madness Diatron.

Here Are the Best Lever Action Nerf Guns of 2023

This blaster flings darts at an average of 75 FPS, which is an average speed compared to other nerf guns and makes it an excellent option for younger children and adults alike! The pre-production model features a green jam door, rather than the orange one seen on the final product. It has a single tactical rail on top that is compatible with any N-Strike accessories and a very clean feeling action on the lever. The SlingFire's lever uses a gear mechanism and a clutch gear, which disengages when there's too much torque, preventing the lever and mechanism from breaking when too much force is applied to the lever. This means that higher spring loads may not work on the SlingFire. As such, aftermarket metal replacements for the gears and lever exist.

The Zombie Strike Scravenger has a toggle on the side of the blaster that enables and disables slam fire. Slam-fire is a rapid-fire feature that allows you to hold down the trigger and fire a round every time the gun is primed. It’s a fun way to throw a ton of foam around your next nerf game. Crossfire Bow • Doublestrike • Fusefire • Jolt • Ricochet • Ripshot • Rough Cut 2x4 • SlingFire • Sidestrike This unique-looking blaster has a sawed-off shotgun and zombie theme, and the finer details of its design really sell that experience. If you want a lever action blaster with a large ammo capacity that will spray lines of foam in your future nerf battles, look no further than the Nerf Elite 2.0 Flipshots Flip-32. That’s a mouthful. It uses an eight-dart non-removable rolling drum and comes with eight orange Nerf Elite darts. Loading this blaster is on the slower side as you must load from the left side and manually spin the drum for each dart. Lever-action blasters with their levers on the bottom of the grip often do not feature any slam fire capabilities since the user would not be able to hold down the trigger while priming the blaster. The Scravenger is the exception to this, avoiding this issue by adding a separate slam fire selector switch. The SLAB is another exception; its trigger moves with the lever, allowing it to be held down while priming to enable slam fire.

The plastic shell uses a unique dart—the length is shorter than a standard nerf dart but longer than a half-length dart. The shells are also compatible with any other half-length darts. The first thing you’ll notice when you take the Winchester 1887 out of the box is that it is hefty. This isn’t a cheap plastic toy that will break within a week and is made of solid aluminum and hard ABS plastic. IAmBobololo (2014-07-02). This ROBLOX-themed Nerf gun is inspired by the Roblox game Adopt Me! and launches darts at an average of 70 FPS. As its name would suggest, priming mechanisms are involved in the priming process of a blaster, readying it to be fired. There are many different versions of priming mechanisms, and the mechanism used differs from blaster to blaster. Almost all mechanisms use some sort of priming handle (e.g. a pump handle or lever handle) which allows the user to prime the blaster. This spring-powered war machine can hold up to 32 nerf elite darts in its two massive drums and uses Nerf’s “flip shot” technology.
