About this deal

So, to save you time, I’ve popped together a guide to my favourite colourful suitcases around. Whether you’re looking for a cute carry on case or a large suitcase suitable for a two-week holiday, there’s something for everyone. If you’d prefer to carry your bag on your shoulders there’s a host of great designs available, although many look a bit ‘hiking’ for our tastes. We recommend looking for a multifunctional design that blends features like large zip openings with comfortable shoulder straps. As a bonus, look for designs where the straps can be hidden away, just in case the bag does need to go in the hold. Howimportant is the interior? It was an extreme ‘test’ admittedly, but the polyester did leak around a couple of seams and around the zips. We were actually impressed our clothes weren’t soaking, but this isn’t a problem you’ll find with a hard shell carry-on. One of my favourite things about suitcases these days is how colourful, creative and stylish they’ve become. They’re an extension of our outfits and our personalities! If we had one complaint, it would be that there are almost too many compartments and zips, and we occasionally got confused and opened up the wrong section. The compression straps are also a little awkwardly positioned meaning we have to unclip them to access the zip to the laptop sleeve.

When researching this post I found very few soft cases. Most big luggage brands are choosing to design hard cases, which offer a great deal more protection to the contents. Another game changer has been the creation of incredibly lightweight suitcases – luggage sets that you don’t have to lug! A Shopping Guide To The Most Colourful Suitcases And Luggage American Tourister – Bon Air Multi-Coloured Suitcases The Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth) and all corresponding state and territory legislation imply terms, conditions and warranties into some contracts for the supply of goods and services and prohibit the exclusion, restriction and modification of such terms (“ Prescribed Terms“). Except as provided by the Prescribed Terms and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the following applies: These days suitcases are SO much more than that. They’re designed to make our lives easier. We’ve gone from two to four-wheeled cases, which has made our luggage so much easier to transport from home, to plane, to hotel. These are some of the most colourful suitcases around right now Each Antler bag comes with a 10 year international warranty, so even before you start there’s peace of mind a-plenty, but you needn’t worry, this bag will last – and age – gracefully. The case has multiple zipper compartments inside, with a divider pad in the case lid, and a small, zippered compartment between the top and bottom. It also has straps to keep items from shifting during transit. Importantly, this case meets the carry-on dimensions for dozens of airlines. The four wheels are large and don’t quite have the effortless maneuverability of the eight wheel cases, but it shouldn’t make a huge difference in then long run, and in our tests it bounced well over door edges and changes of flooring whether we were pushing or pulling it along. For those who want to support a homegrown business, Tripp has been a top UK luggage brand for over 20 years. And the Tripp Holiday 6 line features lightweight hardshell suitcases made from polypropylene. The largest sized carry-on allowance we found was for EasyJet who allow passengers one 56 x 45 x 25 cm bag while the smallest was on Ryan Air, with a fairly unrealistic 40 x 20 x 25 cm allowance. For an up to date list of carry-on allowances visit skyscaner.net and search for ‘cabin luggage.

The slate colour we reviewed compliments the textured design of the suitcase front, helping it to stand out from many standard suitcases. Overall, this suitcase is the perfect lightweight, yet durable, luggage for basically any vacation. So we’re a big fan of the soft case, but we did run into a bit of a problem in the rain. On one short haul trip the bag was put in the hold (not due to its size, but the flight was full and we were late to the gate!) and on arrival the luggage was left out in the rain waiting for baggage handlers. We love this bag, and while the wheels get a bit wobbly over less-than-perfect pavements it shouldn’t be a deal breaker, and if you search online you can probably find it cheaper than the RRP, which is already great value. Handles: Top and side handles are convenient for handling and storing your luggage, while telescoping handles will make it easier to pull alongside or behind you.

THE LIABILITY OF COOR PRODUCTS FOR BREACH OF ANY CONDITION OR WARRANTY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW IS LIMITED AT THE OPTION OF COOR PRODUCTS TO THE FOLLOWING: For a holdall-style luggage option, the Eastpak Tranvers is perfect. It has two wheels and a telescoping handle for easy transportation, with padded handles on the top and side for comfortable carrying. The bag itself is made from a durable, water-resistant polyester, so there’s no concern of dampened luggage. You also don’t want the strain of lugging a heavy suitcase from the airport to your city centre hotel, or up the hill to your cliffside vacation home. That’s the benefit of lightweight luggage – it’s made to be easy to carry, while still durable enough to handle all your travelling needs for years to come. The retracting handle is cushioned for extra comfort, and is the width of the suitcase, which makes the interior completely flat, offering more space than others with a narrower handle. Though, that said, it’s less convenient for those who like to hook smaller bags over their suitcase handle.
