That deep bass defies belief considering the size of the tiny drivers in these IEMs, and I was able to enjoy bags of it on some of my favourite electronic music. Four-Tet’s Baby, with its luscious bass blooms, was a joy to listen to with these. The E3000’s cable is unfortunately not detachable, which could be a deal-breaker for some. Non-detachable cables may be a point of failure down the line, not to mention some consumers may want to pair balanced/aftermarket cables with their IEM, or even hook up Bluetooth adapters. Thom's vocals are intimate and clear, filtered panning piano arpeggios have a slight bloom in the low end, but has an overall pleasant effect. The Blons handle imaging of the orchestra very well. I was able to pinpoint specific violins and cellos, while the bass section came off as more of an all-encompassing wall of low hums. Swelling string crescendos are replayed nicely, again with a slight bloom in that transition from mid-bass to lower mids, but I found the effect pleasant in this case.Honestly, it’s amazing how well the BL-03 hold up against earphones costing even almost 20 times as much. The BL-03 has a great deal of instrumental and vocal separation. Everything is just so… tight, and that’s a precursor to being a good IEM that punches way above its price class. Whilst I enjoyed the extension down to the lower regions, the mid lows definitely seemed forward or neutral, as is common with many popular consumer headphones. How you like this will depend on your taste in music, and there’s always EQ if you need it. Midrange from BLON units and each unit will either satisfy me, make jokes of it, or laugh at it especially the one that looks like an elbow macaroni. But those remarks are what makes BLON unique and not mundane and each iteration is another whole new world for BLON. Therefore, I leave a good remark and The E3000 are much harder to drive. Overall, BLON finally decided to tone the lows down with the BL-07, especially the midbass which was really bloated in their previous releases. There is still an additional amount of vigor in the subbass, but the midbass is not as bloated as before which is definitely a good thing.
