About this deal

The map is a large-scale reproduction of the one found in the book, measuring 596mm x 420mm, and printed on cotton. It comes in a faux-leather wrap to keep it safe and let you roll it out dramatically, like one of Rogal Dorn’s sub-commanders pointing out weak spots in the defences. It’s secured with a leather cord and a metal pendant featuring the sigil of the Titan Legions. The Balefleet Battleforce is a contingent of corrupted warriors comprised of 10 Possessed, five Chaos Space Marine Terminators, and a Helldrake, all led by an infernal Daemon Prince.

These massive contingents of Chaos Space Marines are tasked with collecting the Key-fragments spread across the galaxy needed by Abaddon and Vashtorr the Arkifane to enact their heinous plans. The fresh conflicts and theatres of war opened up by the Despoiler's actions are unlike anything the armies of the Imperium have yet faced, and they’ll need to adapt rapidly as the galaxy plunges into a new era of darkness. The Balefleet Battleforce is a contingent of corrupted warriors comprised of 10 Possessed , five Chaos Space Marine Terminators , and a Heldrake , all led by an infernal Daemon Prince. Games Workshop has been previewing some new sets that are going to be coming soon to support their new Warhammer 40,000 game mode, Boarding Actions. There are going to be two to choose from, to begin with, focusing on the Space Marines and Chaos Space Marines of this 28mm Sci-Fi wargame. A Balefleet is a warband of Chaos Space Marines that has been sent forth by Abaddon and Vashtorr to find the different McGuffins that they need for their rituals. You don't get either of the head honchos in this set but you do get ten Possessed, five Chaos Space Marine Terminators, a Heldrake and then a dark and twisted Daemon Prince. This gives you a pretty elite option for your Chaos Space Marine armies and it fits in nicely with the new Detachment rules for Arks Of Omen that you can indulge in.

Meanwhile, here at Warhammer Community we’ll have more from Codex: World Eaters , the next video in our 40 Years of Warhammer series, and plenty more.

The Emperor’s finest are the prime bulwark against Abaddon’s nefarious schemes, and this Boarding Patrol is typical of their brutal efficiency in such matters. You’ll be able to face any foe with a highly customisable Primaris Captain in Gravis armour , five Heavy Intercessors , and 10 Assault Intercessors . We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Balefleets are the term given to the various fleets used by Chaos forces in the Arks of Omen Campaign. [1] Both of the sets here are designed so they fit into Boarding Actions' 500-point limit and the other army building rules that we looked at last week HERE. That being said, the second of these sets focusing on the Chaos Space Marines offers up a few more than 500 points but that just means you can tweak as you see fit.

Astra Militarum – Bastion Platoon

From the grim darkness of the far future, to the equally grim darkness of the slightly nearer future, there are more Warhammer: The Horus Heresy torsos and shoulder pads coming for Loyalists and Traitors alike. The Balefleet Battleforce is a contingent of corrupted warriors comprised of 10 Possessed, five Chaos Space Marine Terminators, and a Heldrake, all led by an infernal Daemon Prince. Alongside plenty of new lore advancing the storyline, this book contains further rules for the Boarding Actions, including unique upgrades for Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, World Eaters, Grey Knights, Astra Militarum, and Orks Boarding Patrols. One Year Later, Pass or Fail: Vortex Mixer Shaker For Miniatures & Model Paints Arks of Omen 40k Boarding Patrol Box Sets: Savings & Value Breakdown

In a world of bloody Boarding Actions, it’s easy to forget the colossal battles that define the 41st Millennium are still taking place. Balefleets are the cohorts raised by Abaddon and Vashtorr, tasked with collecting the artefacts needed to complete their meticulous plan. In the world of Blood Bowl, a pair of truly classic Star Players are returning to the pitch after a long absence, sporting brand new models to boot! In the brand new Boarding Actions format, compact armies battle through cramped corridors and treacherous corners. New and upcoming Boarding Patrol boxes give you a diverse selection of models to form effective and characterful armies.

If you want to muster a fresh army to take advantage of the Arks of Omen Detachment, there are also four new Adeptus Astartes Battleforces* that’ll give you a great starting point – or help you expand on your army with loads of models and Chapter-themed upgrades. Battlefields in the grim darkness of the far future are shifting as Vashtorr the Arkifane and Abaddon unleash the calamitous Arks of Omen and set intricate plans in motion. Lead the World Eaters on the charge with Lord Invocatus, a named warlord who plunges into battle from the burning skies atop his personal Juggernaut mount Khal’guruth. His artificer chain-axe, Coward’s Bane, reaps a tremendous tally of skulls, and if the force of Khorne’s Thunderbolt isn’t a fit for your warband, you can also assemble this miniature as a regular Khorne Lord on Juggernaut. Exalted Eightbound To make sure you don’t miss a single piece of what’s coming this year – and it’s a LOT – sign up to the Warhammer newsletter for regular updates direct to your inbox.

On the other end of the scale are the Iron Hands, whose March of Iron Strike Force teams up two hulking Redemptor Dreadnoughts with 10 Intercessors, a Primaris Techmarine, and Iron Father Feirros. You may have noticed that blood is a common theme this week, and that goes double for Wednesday’s Warhammer+ releases. Battle Report tears open the Warcry: Bloodhunt boxed set for an epic clash using the new warbands and Fortification rules, while Citadel Colour Masterclass presents an in-depth tutorial for painting all of the blood effects you’ll need for the incoming World Eaters. The Balefleets of Abaddon the Despoiler surge across the galaxy, and woebetide any who attempt to seize or destroy the Arks of Omen that serve as their flagships. If you just bought those three boxes you’d actually have a pretty good mix of Chaos units. Points-wise you’re looking at 745 + 630 + 505 + wargear for a point total of 1880. Now, you’re light on vehicles and have a whole lot of footsloggers so consider yourself warned. Rhinos are 80 points each while a Land Raider is 265. You could make some cuts but if you don’t you’re still looking at a very basic “meat-and-potatoes” chaos list. Would this be very competitive? Honestly — not in the current meta. It’s going to struggle with some of the heavy hitters out there. While Angron’s hordes sweep across the galaxy, the rest of the traitor Astartes aren’t just sitting around, and the Balefleets continue their search for Abaddon’s mysterious relics. This powerful elite force comprises 10 Possessed, five Chaos Terminators, a Heldrake, and the new Daemon Prince, all fully capable of slaughtering entire units of enemy warriors. Boarding Patrol: Space Marines Finally, the Salamanders Warforged Strike Force is great for fans of infantry assaults – not to mention flamers and meltas – with 20 Intercessors, three Eradicators, three Aggressors, and Adrax Agatone to oversee them all. This mischievous pair can play for Badlands Brawl and Underworlds Challenge teams, and will be sure to give your opponents a headache – or a very close haircut, in Nobbla’s case.
