Yes, the Active 2.0 (SE01) is built with a reinforced purpose built 2-stage cut-off valve. This reduces sensitivity of the pressure washer to longer hoses and prevents cycling of the pump. What Pump and Motor is used on the Active 2.0 (SE01)? The Active 2.0 has a 14mm outlet instead of a 15mm. This size is important because we want to use the standard outlet size across the board as much as possible.
If there’s anything you’ll see me smile about when it comes to this unit, it’s the performance. We were able to get 2.0+ GPM with a 5.0 orifice nozzle. I’d say this is the sweet spot because that also put us around 700 PSI, which is plenty for car washing. This product is guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for two(2) years from the orifice should be used (do not use a 1.1 orifice as you will over work the pump and increase electrical draw)HIGH WATER FLOW & PRESSURE – The 1800-watt motor with the pump helps generate a peak pressure of 1800 PSI and an increased water flow of 2.0 GPM gives you 3600 cleaning units I hear about many entry-level pressure washers claiming crazy high outputs and specs, but when tested, they don't come anywhere near what they advertise. Not the case with this unit. When the Active 2.0 showed up, it exceeded my expectations in regards to performance. This unit was easily my favorite pressure washer to test next to the Kranzle . When they built this machine, they didn’t make it with performance as the top priority; it was longevity. I’m repeating myself when I talk about longevity, but I want you to understand the vision and motivation behind this thing. The performance is/was a byproduct of the overall goal. I've been thinking about doing this for as long as I can remember. I've wanted a dedicated wash bay for over 20 years. I thought it would be the most fantastic thing in the world to be able to wash cars whenever I wanted and not have to drag out a hose every time to get the job done. That same year (2017), I started searching everywhere to find a solution that would not only be suitable but amazing. Ours is lower than that because we didn’t move it. It's not ideal. The Active 2.0 (SE02) pressure washer comes with a 2-Year Residential Use warranty. Refer to the product manual for further details. Outside of the design change, which is fantastic, the pump on the Active 2.0 has been completely reengineered. The objective when these guys were building this thing was longevity. Most of these other cheap pressure washers on the market (Greenworks, Ryobi, SunJoes) have a lifespan of 100 hours; James and his team set out to increase that lifespan to 200-250 hours. This revamp required some upgrades of the internal components to achieve the outcome they set out to accomplish.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this, people; the Active 2.0 electric pressure washer is a true game-changer. You are going to want this thing. For car washing, I am going to use a 5.0 orifice nozzle. That is what I prefer. What I really like about the Active 2.0, however, is that you can use a variety of nozzles to tailor the pressure to the task you are doing. In our testing, we found that you can go down to a 3.5 orifice nozzle for high-pressure cleaning and all the way up to a 7.0 for lower-pressure cleaning. If you want, grab the nozzle kit we have for the Active 2.0, so you can decide for yourself what nozzle you like. The brand new Active 2.0 is a great entry level pressure washer for auto detailing. We tested their first version of this unit and it was not quite up to our standards, on the 2.0 version they have made some nice improvements and we are now confident offering it to you as an entry level pressure washer solution. For the price point this is a solid product, the pump is obviously not the same quality as the higher priced options we offer. I think this is the perfect portable solution for anyone who wants a high-performing pressure washer that won’t break the bank. I will always suggest that you wall mount your unit, but if you’re someone who likes to move around freely with your pressure washer or you just can’t wall mount it, this is the solution you want.
