The issues we have with such tools are that they may not provide the power needed to complete the job given. Also, many of them are made with flimsy materials that could fall apart easily with the vibrations of usage. I tried it on the full size Wera screwdrivers and it magnetized them, too. The Wera star magnetise and demagnetise tool ensures the screw remains firmly on the blade. You simply run the tool down the positive side of the magnetiser/demagnetiser and the tool immediately becomes magnetised and is able to hold the screw securely on the blade.To demagnetise the tool simply run it down one of the four negative sides. Fits most screwdrivers including precision screwdrivers, 1/4" Slotted, PH2 Phillips and PH3 PhillipsWera star is used to magnetise any screwdriver so that it is able to securely hold screws. To magnetise simply run the tool down the positive side of the Wera Star and the tool will immediately become magnetised. When its time for you to demagnetise your tool simply run it down one of the four negative sides. I've used these on C6 and E6 bits, and on regular screwdrivers. It took me far more strokes to demagnetize tools and bits than to magnetize. but both processes worked as needed. The strength of magnetization was appropriate for fasteners that fit the bit/driver diameters. More metal means more attractive field lines available. I would not use these to magnetize a driver for dipping into a cup of fasteners...the magnets in bit holders have been much better for that. I’m very impressed by the quality of this tool, it works well, it’s the perfect Magnetizer and Demagnetizer tool to have. Many bargain footwear suppliers offer work boots for a fantastic price. But these are often not steel toe capped, do not have anti-fatigue soles and won’t protect your feet against liquids or extreme heat. In fact, some boots that look the part may as well be a pair of sandals if a hammer or power tool was to drop on your foot.
