Now I can see that and recall, drives on the 16 & 17th were the best. 11th was good but it was a tad too high. So now I can get the feel the driver tempo should be around 3.0 to 3.3. Perhaps. Also it has terrible time with nine hole rounds. It automatically scores par for remainder of holes, which makes the data useless.

Performance: The distances that were provided were extremely accurate and, also, the battery life was good. Certainly, if you take the watch out on the course fully charged you will have no problem getting through the round with plenty of power left over. Charging it is very easy and, if you aren’t playing golf, you will be able to get a couple of days of use without having to re-charge. Importantly though, it is easy to navigate through the various menus on the watch and, when paired with your phone, it opens up a whole world of use as you can trawl through various apps. I wasn't even thinking about screen protection until Day 1 when I was in the restroom I took off the watch to dry my wrist after a hand wash and nearly dropped it. Phew, that would have been a bummer When my Garmin S60 dies this is on the short list. From what I can tell it has all of the futures of the Garmin plus green reading which is a definite “killer app”. We started on the 10th hole that day, and it immediately recognized we were on the 10th hole – despite the fact the first tee box wasn’t that far away.I play in tournaments. I have a device (it will remain unnamed but does not work well in high heat). I am looking for something else, I see that T9 will have a tournament mode without GPS? What does that mean? I assume that the green reading will be disabled. Next it is worth considering what type of golf course you play on regularly. We have found that courses with lots of doglegs and blind tee shots require the in-depth GPS information of a watch, whereas courses that are more out in front of you are perhaps more suited to the simplicity of a laser. Additionally if you play at other clubs in matches or socially, then you may want the extra information a GPS offers over a laser. Additionally be aware of how many golf courses are preloaded onto different watches as well. You want a top of the range model: The Marq is the top model in the Garmin range, with it perfect for your golf game and lifestyle

You are a technophobe: There’s a lot of features that can be accessed on the X5, but those who don’t like technology may be better off with a more basic model What you need to know: Garmin is arguably the most recognized manufacturer in the GPS watch market, with the Approach S12 the brand’s entry level GPS watch. This doesn’t mean that it performs badly, far from it in fact, as you get something that’s easy to use and provides accurate distance information throughout the round. The brightness was adequate for mid-day bright conditions. The touchscreen was good, as reactive as any I’ve tested. I haven’t played 36 with it, but it has plenty of juice left after 18.

Features: In testing, we found that the W11 had so many features that we actually can’t go into all of them. The standout one, though, we noticed at Essendon Country Club, a course which has been designed with two greens for each hole. The watch already knew this and, as a result, was able to switch between the greens, depending on which one was being played. We believe it is the only watch to have this feature, which is incredibly useful.

There is a lot to like about the G5, with it's bigger face and ease of navigation appealing to a wide range of golfers. It also has plenty of useful features for off course activities and the versatile look will also stands it up in good stead. The only downside is that the graphics are a tad basic but, aside from that, there is a lot of value to be had. The primary screen shows the time, swipe left and you have a pedometer, distance walked, and calories burned. I play on some courses where uphill is actually downhill and downhill is actually uphill. Such courses like Marshall Canyon, Palos Verdes can drive you NUTZ trying to read the putt. Although I am working on my AimPoint to feel a slope, I think this feature of the T9 will help. The X5 is sleeker than the previous V3 and has a greater array of features that will enhance your strategy and understanding of your game. The touch screen has its moments, but this is a well thought-out product competitively priced for what it offers. You want a watch that is easy to charge: The connection on the charging system of this watch is a bit flimsy.

If you have smaller wrists, you can easily swap the wrist bands that Voice Caddie provides you. Look at the bottom of the watch and you can use a small screwdriver to move the pin and sway the bands.
