Is it safe for a blind buy? Absolutely. It's worth full price, but it is generally on offer, so it might be best to wait for that for first time buyers. As an owner of quite a few Versace fragrances, Blue Jeans and The Dreamer are my go to for mass versatility and day to day use.

This was created by Jacques Cavallier in 94, not by Jean Pierre Bethouart ( who did The Dreamer 2 years later). I am wearing it properly today for the first time, on a much cooler day (high teens in Celsius, versus sweatily hot). It goes on a bit strong and obviously unisex, but NOT too masculine for a woman who likes distinctive scents. It's now about 4 hours later and the scent has faded to a soft but noticeable lime / bergamot / iris / sandalwood scent -- those are the notes that I can still smell clearly. The overall effect is of a soft fragrant warm spicy perfume, good for autumn (and probably spring). I am glad I bought it!I tried this one a couple of times and while I didn't think it was bad, it just wasn't something I could wear. It became cloying after awhile also. Although tobacco is not listed here, there is a strong tobacco/ cigarette note. The rosemary is more camphorous than minty here, with a green, weedy, grassy quality. Please note that this is an agreeable camphor, not antiseptic or medicinal, but dry and bitter. The galbanum is bitter and green, more than balmy and resinous, although musky. The iris is powdery and earthy, and altogether the heart is tart, dry, powdery, earthy and green, helping to ground the big bold citrus. There is a moment when I get the image of a cigarette that has been crushed out in a plate of tart lemon curd, but this is mercifully short lived. It smells a little more modern than Blue Jeans, eschewing some of the more retro notes and presenting violet florality against more masculine woods. The top consists of a lot of citrus, mostly a zesty lemon and bergamot, with the other notes complementing the opening as well. The heart becomes far more floral; indistinguishable and of gem-quality. The top notes and heart notes blend together for a good chunk of the fragrance. Warning- it may briefly smell like a urinal sponge, or even a sweet bug spray to some- and yet it's still so absolutely fantastic, and that particular aspect of the fragrance is ephemeral. The bottom notes are sweet and creamy, strongly resembling a pairing of vanilla and cocoa. Very, very well executed, and worthy of being in any avid perfumer's collection- this scent is less of a wearable one, and more of a sensory experience.

Spicy citrus opening that will hurt your nose after you spray this on your skin. The scent is very old school; it smells good but, in my opinion, is a little out of date. Performance on this is very nice 4-6 hours depends on the condition. Sometimes I wear a couple of spray before I go to bed because there is something relaxing about this fragrance. There's some sweet - maybe vanilla. There's some citrus - maybe lemon. There's some spice - maybe cinnamon. I bought it for the nostalgia, it was my perfume when I was a little kid.. its smells is like a time machine that recalls memories from when I was 10.. This was one of my first designer fragances i brought, it smells like clean clothes and i love it for that, super fresh clean scent that keeps me on a good mood through the day.

Too sad for the bottle it ends up in my garage i spray it as an air freshener if something stinks going on. I really couldn't find a good place to use it, not even in toilet if the scent will make ppl felt nervous 😔 Versace A citrus fragrance with an elegant touch of rose and geranium. Lavender emphasises it and flowers like jasmine and violet add a touch of non-conventional class. Nutmeg and woods like cedar and sandalwood intensify the tones. The warm notes of amber, vanilla and musk softly wrap this unusual harmony. Must have item for every fragrance wardrobe! Now when I say "basic generic" I'm just talking about that's the kind of soda I picture. This scent is far from basic & generic. It's really good. I have a visceral physical reaction to this fragrance. My heart is filled with lust and love for my handsome first love, and simultaneously filled with dread, jealousy, anxiety, lost dreams and a broken soul. Synthetic, powdery, has a candy sweetness in a way. I enjoy it, but I can see this being offensive for some people because of the sweet synthetic aspect. This is not a mass pleaser but still a great work of perfumery, I don't recommend blind buys on this, it is pretty special.
