minutes after opening the book a first topic I was curious about had already been demistified. Clearly lot of effort and thinking has gone into the writing of this book. Bravo! My partner and I left our jobs to travel for a year right before Covid-19 hit and since things haven’t really settled down we decided to buy a house. We still really want to travel so I bought this book for my partners birthday hopefully we can get a van project going since we have the space for it! If you only have a couple of appliances and you want to keep things simple, an all-in-one solution such as a powerbank might be suitable for you. Of all the jobs we had to do to the van, the first one happened to be one of the most daunting. Most professional van builders will use a nibbler or electric shears to cut sheet metal. However, we were keen to use the tools we already had to save money, so before we took the plunge, we watched a few YouTube videos to get a good idea of how to approach the install campervan windows without having quite the right tools. Amazing book. Step by step guide of converting a van. Really useful ideas and tips i wouldn’t have thought of. Thank you so much We haven’t yet embarked on the campervan conversion but this book is great really detailed, informative, helpful and aesthetically pleasing too.

Well laid out book ,a lot of thought and time had went into the presentation would highly recommend for anyone starting out converting their van . I thought this was the most amazing book. It covers everything and is full of relevant topics and helpful advice. Brilliant! Next to that it is also important what type of Modem/Mifi device you have, again 4G or 4G+, your Huawei device is a 4G regular CAT4 device, CAT4 means it makes 1 connection to the cell tower, CAT6 devices make 2 connections(2 separate frequencies) to the tower (More stable and slightly more speed) nowadays the CAT7-12-18 devices are coming to the market, but they are not very stable yet… CAT6 devices are well developed over the past few years…
Taking on a project like a van-conversion is a huge task, with about a million potential downfalls – so knowledge is power!A very well written, handy book that has given me a lot of food for thought toward the van conversion that I want to do. Bought it for my boyfriend, it made him smile big and he was very happy with all the information in this beautiful book A campervan WiFi dongle, sometimes known as a router, ‘MiFi booster’ or ‘mobile WiFi hotspot’ acts like your internet router at home. Except instead of getting internet from a fibre optic cable in the ground, it has a built-in antenna that looks for 3G, 4G or 5G signal. Once it has found this signal, it amplifies this as a WiFi hotspot that you can connect multiple devices to, including your phone and your laptop.
Very useful and detailed guide on everything you need to know. I am actually renovating a 1965 Eriba Pan caravan but most of the information is relevant such as planning and electrical systems. Thanks guys
