About this deal

Splatoon one would be the best without that big yellow splash. Not a fan of bright colored characters that pop out like with Scarlet / Violet and Dragon Quest editions. I assume Mario Odyssey and BotW were left off to prevent the "you've just listed the best games on Switch" response(!) - despite the fact both should be on the list ! I came to close to buying the Splatoon OLED, but made myself really inspect the design and I came to the conclusion that the Splatoon iconography does little for me and the joy-cons are the only particularly good thing about it. Guide: Pokémon GO Special Evolutions – How To Get Pangoro, Sylveon, Glaceon, Aromatisse, Slurpuff, Sirfetch’d, Galarian Cofagrigus And More The Switch console's battery alone lasts a very long time, and you can play games extensively. It is also very comfortable to hold, and the resolution is almost perfect, even on the TV. The controller also feels very good in the hand, so you can spend a nice gaming evening with friends. However, the games are a bit expensive, but there are many offers.

Software is simple and easy to find your way around for fhe first time, having the touchscreen helps in menus, connecting to WiFi etc. Hm... I don't see fighting games on this list. And if talking about dark colors... Maybe, Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] need to be included in the list? Also, CHAOS CODE -NEW SIGN OF CATASTROPHE- too... I don't see why Nintendo has to "phase out" the Switch in favor of newer hardware. Like it or not, the Switch will sell regardless of its specs, as long as new games are being released for it. In the past, Nintendo found it necessary to upgrade to newer hardware for one reason or another, but now that the Switch is in a comfortable place in the industry and doesn't have significant competition coming from any other companies, I don't see why Nintendo has to ever abandon the old install base. It's different for Microsoft and Sony, because they are in stiff competition and each have to bring something new to the table every generation, lest they be left behind and overtaken by the other company. Nintendo, having carved their own niche in the industry, doesn't need to worry about this. Plus, as the game library grows, it becomes more and more risky for other companies to challenge them. If they were to move onto a new generation, this advantage would be gone. There needs to be more special edition Switch Lites, like a special edition Wario-themed Switch Lite to coincide with a remake of Super Mario Land 3.There is a 'less is more' mentality to many of the designs on this list, but the Monster Hunter XX special edition model (unique to Japan) is just a bit... ehh. Especially considering what this franchise is known for.

Share the screen, share the fun. Flip the stand to share the screen, then share the fun with a multiplayer game. Most of the Switch's special editions are way too busy for my taste. I'd say the Animal Crossing one still looks the best, followed by the LABO one and the two Pokemon Switch Lite models. That all said, it’s all about visual performance. The games still run the same otherwise, the screen is just that much better. TV mode - connect the Switch to your TV, like an ordinary console, and use the controllers to play all your favourite titles alone or with friends while you relax on the sofa I have the ACNH version – well, we bought if for our daughter. I'm really gutted because the joy-cons keep breaking. Drift and shoulder buttons nots working. I wish I could buy a new pair of joy-cons that are the same colour, but alas. Only option is to pay to fix them, which we've done twice.

64 GB internal storage

Enhanced audio – Enjoy enhanced sound from the system’s onboard speakers when playing in Handheld and Tabletop modes Interesting that the system's best and one of the most gorgeous games (BOTW) is not included. Definitely that's a most for anyone buying the OLED Switch. blindsquarel Switch Pro and Switch 2 are pretty much synonymous in my eyes. They won't release a system that deletes their previous userbase, they will want a smooth transition, it won't be a clear cut generational leap, more like Gameboy to Gameboy Color. I would be surprised if they said "none of these games will work on a regular Switch". kurtasbestos Me too. I'd've even bought a special edition controller like the one released to accompany XC2. Maybe for XCX/XCX's sequel if we ever get one, or for XC4 on the Switch 2.
