Kousuke specifically asks Ryoko not to call him 'big brother,' saying that he wants to be able to dream of being with her.In the spinoff of Genshiken, Kujibiki Unbalance has the main character's sister pursuing him endlessly, even going so far as to try perfume that is actually a love potion to seduce him. Instead she just succeeds in getting MC's best friend to kiss MC much to his sister's despair and anger. Interestingly enough, the level of incest between Minato and Juunichi changes depending on the version of the story. They're fully blood-related in the original PC game, but Minato is adopted in the Play Station 2 version and possibly in the anime as well.
Todd Haynes’‘Carol’ is quite simply one of the most beautiful films about what it feels like to fall in love. These are two people dying to fall in each other’s arms, yearning for a sense of emotional liberation from the clutches of a cold society. Therese is a shy young girl who isn’t happy with her boyfriend. Carol is a wealthy, middle-aged mother on the verge of a divorce. These are two people in different phases of life, from different strata of society, but the world around them is cold and indifferent to their feelings and desires, and that is when they meet. With an amazing cast and a nuanced script, Haynes crafts a timeless story of love so full of warmth and humanity.
Happy World: The explanation Takeshi uses to explain Elle's connection to him is that she's his step-sister. Cut to Takeshi exclaiming loudly to her in a classroom "We should make a baby." And they actually go halfway through the act before realising that they're not emotionally ready for it. As it turns out, their relationship to eachother is technically step-siblings... probably. Takeshi's mother is Elle's mother, but Elle doesn't have a father, so it's a bit complicated. Izaya's younger twin sisters Kururi and Mairu are also Twincestuously close to each other. In the anime it comes rather out of left field when they make their only proper appearance in the series in a DVD-only episode, and suddenly make out without any kind of foreshadowing, only for it to be never mentioned again. Somethinged in Fresh Pretty Cure. Miki's brother Kazuki lives with her father (her parents are separated, presumably divorced) and uses his name. She hasn't told her best friends they they're related, and in the first episode she refers to their upcoming outing as a date. The second episode focuses on one of their dates; it also features The Reveal that they're related, but you'd be forgiven for missing this detail. Eventually it's revealed that, when her friends assumed Kazuki was Miki's boyfriend, Miki went out of her way not to correct them because she thought it was cute. The anime-remade episode has this too, and is more outrageous, where Megumi goes to the length of clinging onto Keichii and fighting over him with Skuld, Urd and Peorth who also fell victim to the effect of the potion. At first glance, and indeed for many years after its release, Basic Instinct looked like it belonged in the first camp, with the plot revolving largely around the difficulty had by Michael Douglas in investigating Stone’s trashy novelist for a debauched murder while trying (in pitiful vain) to resist her seductive efforts. The premise is well known – a seemingly no-strings fling between a married man and a seductive publisher turns deadly when our hero tries to return to married life – and the film’s attitude towards the issues of its time seems, at a glance, straightforwardly reactionary. Glenn Close’s sexually liberated career woman unmasked for the murderous nutjob she truly is, Anne Archer’s non-working housewife remains the true model of contended womanhood, and the nuclear-family unit is, in the end, protected at all costs.On that note, Azaka Kokutou from Kara no Kyoukai, who can be considered prototype of Akiha above, also loves her brother deeply, to point where it gets in the way of her becoming friends with the series heroine Ryogi Shiki. Her love may not be the same in nature as Akiha's but since she and her brother were used as a strong basis for Akiha and Shiki, it is likely that the "love for my brother" was carried over as well. Instead, what it gave us was two young and relatively untested actresses, Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos, deftly describing, in the grim northern French town of Lille, the heady emotional rushes and sudden power shifts of an emerging relationship. Looks are exchanged, picnics are arranged, kisses are traded and then everything grinds to a halt at approximately one hour and 11 minutes into the movie, when director Kechiche and his two lead actresses deliver the type of jaw-to-the-floor sex scene that has subsequently raised the movie-sex bar to insane heights of verisimilitude and has pushed the literal definition of "simulated" to breaking point. The film stars Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna as goofy school-age buddies and from the opening shot, which shows one of our heroes frantically going at it with his girlfriend, it's clear that fornication will play a central role in the next couple of hours. And so it does, the pair soon making friends with an enigmatic older woman at the races and regaling her with tales of an idyllic beach spot, which – metaphor alert – doesn't actually exist. Before long the three have set off on a journey towards sun, sea and, yes, life-changing self-discovery.
