Underneath Your Clothes" is an example of how she can be both passive and aggressive in this: from "I love you more than all that's on the planet" to "There's my territory/ And all the things I deserve" and with "We... belong to each other". Above Good and Evil: When Eva Procopio confronts Overlord Cinnibar Breneka about how he could have gone from the greatest force of good in the galaxy to the greatest force of evil, he tells her that he has moved beyond such moral frameworks. Break-Up Song: "Don't Bother", and many songs from her Spanish era, such as "Te Espero Sentada" and "Estoy Aquí". Legends: The Enchanted (script and art, original hardcover graphic novel, Radical Comics, 2010, ISBN 1-935417-07-X)

SHAKARA! - 2000 AD

Enrique Iglesias, Rafael Nadal, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Wyclef Jean, Beyoncé, Alejandro Sanz and Carlos Santana have all featured with her in a song, music video, or both. You were like one of those guys / The kind with a wandering eye (Hey!) / But I said, "Hey, what the hell? Once in my life, I'll take a ride on the wild side Horrifying Hero: Shakara is a menacing Killer Robot with glowing red eyes, chains and spikes all over his body, and weapons for hands. In most other stories, he'd probably be either the villain himself or a robot mook for the hero to defeat, but he's simply the instrument of revenge against the evil aliens who wiped out his creators. Professional Killer: Valentine D'Eath is an assassin with all the exaggeration inherent to a gonzo Space Opera scifi setting. Lines in Whenever, Wherever and the Spanish equivalent Suerte say, respectively, "And these two eyes that for no other/The day you leave will cry a river" and "And these two eyes which tell me/That they must mourn when you leave".

Percival also painted the Sláine story "King of Hearts" for 2000 AD, where he worked with the co-creator of 2000 AD, Pat Mills. Therianthropy: Shakira has the ability to transform herself into a cat at will. Either that, or she has the ability to turn into a human at will. It's not really clear. Deimos stated that her power comes from a connection to The Red. [2]

Cyborg: One of the antagonist races is called the Teknosaurs. And yes, they're a race of cyborg dinosaurs. It remains unknown if Shakira and Tamara were somehow connected, and if Shakira would herself one day become a deadly tigress. Morgan even speculated that she might not be a woman who turns into a cat, but a cat who turns into a woman. [1]

Final Battle: Shakara with his little ship vs. the entire Hierarchy armada as he's racing to stop the Big Bad from activating his Doomsday Device in time. He uses a World Engine in his possession to turn an entire planet into a spaceship, destroying the entire enemy fleet in one go. Logic Bomb: Cinnibar Breneka both created the Shakara Federation and destroyed it. He temporarily defuses the computerized hivemind of the Shakara, which was programmed to destroy the enemies of the Shakara, by pointing out that as the last Shakara they’re compelled to serve him.

I just finished Shakara a comic by 2000AD and the ending just made me think of Imu. Shakara is a comic about an alien race(the Shakara) that is wiped out by a coalition of advanced alien evil aliens called the Hierarchy. The comic begins by the last human being killed in a slave auction and then a warrior emerges to avenge the enslaved uttering only one word "Shakara". We're shown the various evils of the hierarchy from slavery to planet destruction to extorting less advanced alien civilizations. Shakara is a forbidden name that is not to be uttered anywhere as it is outlawed by The Hierarchy. Cat Folk: Valentine, a swaggering alien Professional Killer, recalls how he hooked up with a feline Femme Fatale client in his memoirs.
