Pure Move R3 review: Your personal DAB radio
The Move R3 has a 1.6-inch OLED display that’s much clearer than the LCD version used on the Move 2500 and Move 2520. The Siesta Rise and the Elan Connect are Pure’s top DAB+ radio alarms. DAB+ radio with CD player by Pure Yes, stops at 50% for me as well. I am trying it under various compatibility modes to see if that's the problem (running Win 10 at the moment). In addition, the usual DAB caveats apply. If you have a work commute that involves underground rail or a route with more tunnel than outdoors, the Move R3 probably isn’t a good fit. However, this isn’t Pure’s fault. In terms of sound performance, the audio quality of the Pure R3 is very par for the course for Pure. The sound is deep and clear, just like you would expect from a Pure radio. Additionally, it’s nice to have the addition of the noise-proof headphones. However, we found that they were a little uncomfortable to wear.I get the message about cable connection lost part way through the install process. I just tried again on a different PC with a different cable. It got to 50% I think? The whole process took me about 20 minutes (including trying to get the Mi working). I would have thought the average consumer simply won't bother and if they have a go, could easily give up.
