This section is for the Pokémon that Ash still owns but are in the care of another Trainer or a group of other Pokémon. Certain Pokémon acquired new Move Reminder and Egg Moves; most notably Lake guardians and Alolan Grimer, Cacnea, and Luvdisc, respectively, who did not have any at all. Ash attempted to participate in the Ula'ula Island challenge, but he was rejected by Nanu and lost in an impromptu "pre-trial". Afterward, Ash decided to stay on the island and train under Tapu Bulu. This allowed him to formally participate in his island challenge, which turned out to be a battle against Jessie's Mimikyu, who recently gained a Mimikium Z. Ash barely won thanks to Pikachu learning Electroweb, as well as being able to once again use 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt. Archaludon, an evolution of Duraludon, which will be available in part 2. It has a new move, Electro Shot. Ash's troubles were not made any easier when his Charmander, after evolving into a Charmeleon, and then a Charizard, grew too powerful and refused to listen to him until Ash could prove himself. Pikachu, Raichu, and Pichu wearing Ash's original hat have been made available to catch and hatch from Eggs during certain events. Additionally, for the 2019 April Fools' event, Ash himself could appear in photobombs when using the Camera.
