Babies need to learn how to walk, and Owleez need to learn how to fly. You can teach him by swooping up and down and around so he can feel the air beneath his wings and how amazing it will be for him once he learns. We took ours on a stunt version of swooping. You can hear how much Owleez enjoys it as you go – he makes the best “woooooo, wooooo!” noises for you. Yotie swooped Owleez everywhere with him. Gettin’ some air, he said. I can imagine this to be very popular at Christmas Reply Simply plug it in and wait for its eyes to change from flashing red to green. Ours took around 15 minutes on the first charge, so not a long wait at all. Whilst it can be tempting to try and get started with the Owleez toy straight away, Owleez wont fly, may refuse to fly or wont fly very well if his battery is low, so as frustrating as it may be for the children to have to wait a little, this is definitely recommended to get the best out of the toy.

The Owleez pink toy is very cute to look at – a small plastic bird in a bubblegum pink colour, he has a swirly blue design on the chest and blue fluff ‘feathers’ on the sides.

Blue eyes – If his eyes turn blue, Owleez is cold, and he will make little shivery sounds too. To warm him up, children can press their hand against his forehead.I loved Owleez the flying Owl toy! I really didn’t expect such a small, light little toy to have so much power and start flying like a helicopter. I always find with Spinmaster toys, there is the WOW factor and you almost have an experience and not just a toy. This was no exception. You do need quite a lot of free space for the Owleez flying baby owl to fly, and in some modern family homes that might be easier said than done. When it’s flying, sometimes/very rarely it may crash while landing, but don’t worry it’s made up of strong material. While landing you can take it into your hands or can be landed on any surface. If the wings are still in flight then they can be closed when you touch the wings and the head will be closed automatically, never push the head down. Once it’s fully charged, it can fly 45 times. Even though this Summer has been a very rough one for the boys, there have been a few moments that have bought excitement and hilarity to both our home and Granny and Grandad’s. Grandad loved our little drone that we bought to show him [which was like one of the little creatures from Batteries Not Included] last year and so this trip now he’s unable to move around for a few weeks, we decided to take our new interactive toys with us to show him. Not just because these are interactive but because they’re quite a bit rebellious. The first one out of the box was Owleez. WHAT IS OWLEEZ? Price-wise it isn’t a cheap toy but it works, its novel and great fun! I think as its so light it feels a little expensive but I guess it needs to be quite light to fly.

You see, as an incurably hopeless, wish-upon-a-star daydreamer, when my first baby boy came into my life, I swiftly realised that being the parent you thought you would be, and creating family memories to treasure in the way you imagined before your baby was born [and keeping you awake all night] is a real challenge. Well this most defintely has christmas favourite written all over it and seems a much more reasonable price than some previous christmas must haves!
