About this deal

Combines contemporary technology with iconic Marshall design to deliver hard-hitting sound while retaining a classic look I was wondering about the differences between Marshall's Acton II vs Kilburn II speakers as they're roughly the same size. Over the past few years, Realme has produced fully wireless earbuds that are highly feature-rich. The Realme Buds Air 2 from last year won us over with its excellent sound quality, active noise cancellation, and reasonable price. Realme spent some time perfecting its product, which led to the creation of the Buds Air 3. These […] More Other than use with other speakers, can you tell me something that the Acton II Bluetooth can offer but the Kilburn II can't? I like how the guitar strap of Kilburn II goes with its (or the entire line-up of Marshall speakers) retro vibe. It's pleasant to carry around, but definitely nowhere near being small.

Also, Marshall speakers don't propagate sound 360 degrees (unlike Beoplay M5, for example). So the distance from the speakers is also a primary factor here. I'll assume it's either corner or wall placed. If not, shift these values accordingly. Setting it up couldn't be simpler, you just need to plug it in and connect your phone to it through your Bluetooth settings. You can also connect to the speaker using a 3.5mm audio cable although you will need to buy your own because there isn't one included in the box. It’s using the powers of technology for good, and ultimately with you in control, better playlists for all. And if apps aren’t your thing, you can still use our products without it. There’s a lot to like about the build and design of Marshall’s wireless speakers, but don’t buy the Acton II Voice expecting anything more than an average sonic performance. Tribit Stormbox Blast review

When put together side by side and played at the same high volume, the Acton II sounds clearer, more pleasant and without any distortion whatsoever. The source code under Pierre Aubert's work is licensed under GPL (General public license). He didn't perform any of the measurements himself, and instead he compiled all of them into one place, so that makes sense. The Marshall Stanmore 2 is simply amazing for low-end and if you play a bass guitar in very low notes i.e under 80 Hz then you will be amazed at how well the speaker is able to handle those notes. The woofer works hard when it comes to mids and highs. This speaker lets you enjoy clean and precise audio even at high audio levels. It has a bass reflex system which comes with a port that helps in increasing the efficiency even at low frequencies so that you enjoy the stellar sound at all times. It is equipped with advanced components such as two 15 watt class D Amplifiers that powers its tweeters and a 50 watt class D amplifier that drives its mighty subwoofer.

The Marshall Acton 2 delivers high quality, well balanced, natural and powerful sound which makes your audio experience great. The Marshall Acton 2 is equipped with three dedicated class D Amplifiers that power dual tweeters and a subwoofer thus if you put this speaker in a small room or even in a large hall, it will blow your mind with its powerful sound quality. Each and every song that you will listen to on this speaker will be better to hear because of its clear, crisp audio delivery. The bass of this speaker is powerful enough to fill a room. It’s really amazing and you’ll get goosebumps at high volumes. classy and vintage design that no one dares to ignore. There is a wooden cabinet construction in the speaker that provides natural warm sound with refined and better audio experience. The speaker is wrapped up with premium leather making it look very impressive. I'm not saying you'd better ditch the decibel rating completely, because you shouldn't. It does have its place. But in this subject case, there's no comparison between the Acton and the Kilburn. What irks most, though, is the Acton II Voice’s handling of timing, organisation and dynamics. Rhythmically it is disappointingly messy, with even straightforward beats left off kilter, while instruments often appear to be speaking to each other in different languages.

But for engineering products like speakers? Personal tastes and preferences probably still play a role. But shouldn't it be less?Using this app, I also discovered that the bass and treble control knobs control the 160Hz (bass) and 6.25Hz (high) bands only. This means that, as I suspected, there’s zero control over mids without the app. If adding a mid-frequency knob was too much of a logistical squeeze, maybe Marshall should have considered having the parameters of the physical knobs overlapping into the mids a touch - it’s digital, so a clever little algorithm could have helped the mids sing more easily. The colormap provides you the locations with the best (green) and worst (red) listening experience. Also, through using the app, the unit can be linked to another Marshall Bluetooth speaker to make a stereo pair. This is useful in case you need to add even more power – or if you want to use them as a 2.1 surround sound system for your phone’s movies. Because, other parameters such as the age/materials of the building, furniture/windows in place also have an impact on room acoustics.
