About this deal

My baby was estimated at 7lb 11oz at 35 weeks and due to his size I am being induced at 38 weeks which they estimate he will be around 8lb 8oz. So I think a gro bag from the get go may be for me however I may have a look at these gro snugs out of curiosity.

Therefore, we teamed up with sleep scientists and a qualified paediatrician at Northumbria University, to develop a dual-tog All-Season Grobag™. Suitable for use in temperatures ranging from 14-27+°C, featuring removable insulation it can be easily adjusted from a 2.5 tog to a 1.0 tog sleep bag. If parents need to adjust baby’s temperature while they are sleeping, they can safely add or remove warmth using the outer zip ‘n’ pop layers with minimal disturbance to baby. With breathable mesh, positioned in high-heat areas, it enhances baby’s ability to efficiently release excess heat, which supports their natural temperature regulation and ultimately helps to keep them comfortable for a good night's sleep. A great combination of tight swaddling with a little bit of wiggle room, this swaddle works wonders however your baby likes to sleep. The fabric is lusciously soft and light, and our mini-tester seemed extremely cosy and content in her Moses basket. The best baby crib for your little one depends on what your priorities are. Do you need the best baby crib for travel? A fit for small spaces… READ MORE

Still, any type of swaddle that compresses the arms and limits movement should not be used once your baby shows signs of rolling (or around 2 to 4 months of age). Why is swaddling not recommended? The Groswaddle is our traditional wrap, a shaped swaddle with exactly the right amount of fabric for a safe swaddle – with no risk of overwrapping. You can use it to swaddle your baby arms in or arms out, by using different wrapping techniques. Our little girl loves being in her Purflo swaddle bag, keeps her arms in close but is hip friendly! Poppers on the sleeves allow you to transition from swaddling at the appropriate age :)” (Recommended by Mumsnetter noslen) Expect to find lots about children's crafts & activities, the family home, food, adventures (both in the UK and beyond). A big thumbs up from us, and I would definitely add it to the list of ‘essential’ baby items to get before your little one arrives!

Our Swaddlebags come in two sizes: 0-3 months (7-13lbs 8oz/3.2-6.1kg and up to 62cm in height) and 3-6 months (from 13lbs 8oz – 18lbs/6.1-8.2kg and 62-68cm in height) so you can choose the best fit for your baby. Every baby is different and there is no set time when you should stop swaddling. Many babies enjoy being swaddled for several months whilst others will become frustrated by their restricted movement from as early as two to three months. It is possible to swaddle a baby too tightly. If a swaddle is wrapped too tightly, it can interfere with a baby’s regular breathing pattern and put the baby at risk for hip dysplasia. Type: Zip-up sleeping bag | Fabric: Cotton, polyester and Dupont Sorona | Size: 0-4 months What we love For a few days before planning to remove the swaddle completely, you should stop swaddling your baby’s arms and just wrap their legs and body up to chest height. At the same time, you should gradually loosen the tension of the swaddling.

Keep the crib bare. Loose blankets, stuffed animals, and lovies can pose a suffocation risk, so you’ll want to keep the crib completely bare. It may not feel like it, but your newborn spends up to 20 hours of each day asleep. Because of this, it’s vital to make sure your baby is swaddled safely and that risks are minimised as much as possible.
