About this deal

If you have always wanted to take up surfing but are worried you’ve left it too late, we are here to How to choose the best inflatable paddle board for you Why choose an inflatable stand-up paddle board?

I pushed this budget paddleboard to its weight limit: Bestway SUP

First test of the Bestway Hydro Force Fast Blast SUP was with an indicated max pressure of 15psi out on Southampton Water with about a foot and a half of chop. In its 5in guise, the Shark Touring iSUP is suited to those who weigh 75kg or less, while the 6in version will work better for those over that weight. Don’t fret: both boards can handle a maximum payload well in excess of 180kg, which should be more than enough for a full day’s worth of supplies. Those who are very keen and plan to get on the water at least once a week may want to buy a more expensive board with better construction. Boards with a better construction will be able to withstand many more inflations and deflations. Size and air pressure (referred to as PSI) will contribute to how much weight the paddle board can easily support. Make sure you consider potential passengers, not just yourself.Andark Lake offers an enclosed safe open water space to PRACTISE BALANCING & CLIMBING ON YOUR BOARD without the strength of a tide or current. The sea is very unpredictable and much stronger then we realise at time, it’s always advised to build your strength & confidence up on your board before you explore the rivers and coastline. Unlike the Bluefin or Sandbanks boards, the JP doesn’t have many reinforcement features, suggesting the board will probably flex a bit for the bigger, heavier riders out there. So it’s important for this board to pumped up fully, otherwise it might feel a bit like a bouncy castle.

Stand-up paddle boarding has taken off in the UK, and that’s helped by inflatable designs that make it easier to hit the water for a serene paddle without having to find a way to transport, store and carry a massive 10ft board. I recently wanted to try an inflatable stand up paddleboard (SUP) for use as a tender to get to my boat when she’s out on the mooring. If you think about it, even though this paddle board is made for touring, it’s still a great multi-purpose board. It can be used by anyone since it’s stable, fast, spacious, comfortable, and durable. Not to mention the nice and sleek design that’s pleasing to the eye. You can pretty much do anything with this good-looking board, except for SUP kayak. Like what I’ve already said a hundred times, the Goosehill Sailor Touring board is very stable. And even though it is a fast paddle board, it still feels quite sturdy when tried in the water. Aside from that, it has a width of 32” which makes it really easy to balance and navigate. The Bestway Hydro Force Fast Blast SUP seemed to want to go nine or 10 paddle strokes each side on average and I’ve paddled shorter inflatable SUPs that are nearer four or five strokes per side so it’s pretty good on that. They produce some high end, top quality gear that is designed for true watersport professionals. I personally really like their SUP surf boards, which I used a lot when I worked for a watersports centre in Brazil.
