About this deal

Perhaps most agreeably of all, the UX3000 are notably small and compact by the standards of their peers. Many over-ear headphones like to dominate the wearer’s head, but not these.

By far it’s the treble that has the fastest impact on the sound signature. There’s a good bite to the frequencies that appears consistently enjoyable to listeners who are looking for that type of texture. It doesn’t go overly bright which is preferable, but there are slight piercing elements in the mid-highs that were noticeable. Their fidelity isn’t the greatest, but the highs showcase enough presence to make for engaging musicality. Summary The Final Audio UX3000 wireless headphones use a driver designed to counter the negative effects of noise-cancelling on audio performanceAnother issue is that the headphones don’t really turn off if you power them off with ANC enabled. You have to disable ANC and then you can actually power off the headphones, which is extremely inconvenient and a rather poor design choice. Battery life is quoted at 25 hours with active noise-cancellation switched on, or 35 hours with ANC switched off. The UX3000 can go from ‘flat’ to ‘full’ in around 150 minutes when charging, and they use USB-C. With a playtime of 25 hours with active noise cancellation switched on, and 35 hours turned off UX3000 headphones go the extra mile. Also, the noise cancelling function can be used independently even when not listening to music. It can be used as a personal soundproof realm by using the noise cancelling function for making calls, permitting conversations to be heard clearly while eliminating ambient noise. The physical design of the UX3000 is pretty typical for Bluetooth headphones. It has an all-plastic body with a generously padded headband. Interestingly, these headphones have the same SHIBO finish as the final ZE3000 TWS earphones; this is great because it means they’re resistant to fingerprints and it adds an element of interest to an otherwise spartan design. Furthermore, the plastic used for these headphones appears to be the same one that the ZE3000 is made from.

Living in Glasgow, Scotland but born and raised near Milan, Italy, I got the passion for music listening as a legacy from my father and my grandfather. Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds and the headphones will turn ON with a "Power ON" announcement. The headphones start device pairing mode automatically with the Bluetooth/ANC Status Indicator flashing alternately in Red and Blue. The pairing defaults to the APTX codec and I experience no noticable latency when casually watching content. I have not tested latency in depth but it is very usable. I have no idea if APTX low latency is being used but I doubt it as it does not show as a choice in the developer options. The UX3000 can fold thanks to a hinge on the headband and they can be made to lie flat on a surface by rotating the earcups, as they swivel on the vertical axis (which makes them quite flexible when it comes to adjusting them to the shape of your head!).Considering all of the Bluetooth headphones out there, only a few brands are known for their sound quality. We have a lot of manufacturers now that prioritize noise-canceling and now spatial audio that sometimes the native sound signature can come up short. Final Audio has always been a brand that makes worthy, inexpensive audio products that come with a consistent level of sound quality. Even their first venture into Bluetooth, the EVA 2020 was successful in providing great true wireless with a solid sound that was on the same level as Final Audio IEMs. Now, Final Audio has released their first over-ear Bluetooth headphone, the UX3000. The noise cancelling function can also be used independently as an earmuff while music or other audio is not playing. Another useful plus is the multipoint connect feature, so you can link the headphones to two sources at the same time. This is particularly useful at work when, say, you are listening to something on your laptop but need to be able to answer a call on your phone as well. Switching between the two sources works pretty well, with only a minor glitch and fallout of signal every now and then – nothing serious and no permanent drop-outs. Either in store or from the comfort of your own home. We appreciate life is busy, so why not let us make it a little easier for you.

Each earcup also features both internal and external mics. These handle voice-assistant interaction and telephony, as well as monitoring noise inside and outside the earcups for active noise-cancellation purposes. Final Audio UX3000 review: verdict
